Surprisingly Catchy Song

You know, having just listened to several of your songs from years past, it's awesome to hear such an improvement in the clarity and vibrance of sound, complexity of arrangement, and overall song flow. And not to discount your earlier work - I enjoy it very much! :) Indeed, this sounds like something you might hear accompanying a dancing cat GIF or something similarly charming. Like you say, the simplicity is what makes it so catchy! Hearing a repeated motif is sure to leave a lasting impact, and although I believe the real magic is found in the supporting parts, there's no denying the appeal of a memorable melody played by a satisfyingly textured lead. You may very well be onto something here, Glitchman - I wouldn't be surprised to hear this used in a variety of contexts all over the internet, for real. Keep up the stellar work, my man! :D

If you look at meme videos with music, you'll notice that almost all of them have something in common: they're short, simple, and memorable, and these factors make them extremely sharable. I know the effort and care that go into original pieces must be immense, and I want to show an appreciation for and interest in original music, even if it's less searchable or doesn't have the nostalgia/iconic appeal of remixes - in fact, that's all the more reason for doing so! Thanks man! Yeah, it does sound old school! I wanted this song to be as simple as possible, so I purposely used only basic synths and fx, no fancy stuff. And I think it worked out! Glad you liked it! 😀
