Great Video! Can you also make one about the voltage sag of the battery? Like how it pulls, when the pearcentage drops below 50 or 30? I would love to see that!

Hey man! Was wondering what you did about the breaker with the torp and a chi battery... Chi says to remove it. Torp says it's required... I receive my battery soon and would also like to know if you have had any issues what so ever with your setup. Thank you!

Why don’t you run the motor current at 500. I bought the torp with your discount code and love it.
@JUSTINHAWKSMITH Жыл бұрын
I’ve already overheated my stock motor like 5 times running it at 400 motor current (& 14kw) . I don’t know how long it’d last on 500 I ride this thing too hard lol

Im having the issue with my 60/70 from chi, my connector is coming from the side thats facing the seat and the gave me a supra to qs8 connector. Only way i can get the battery lid to close is routing it through the side which i hate. Did you push some of the connector into the harness? Let me know if you find a better method. Also yow are you flipping your breaker? I appreciate all the great content.
@JUSTINHAWKSMITH Жыл бұрын
Hey man I’m not sure on that specifically cause I’ve never had that one or fooled with that one. But as far as flipping the breaker I can move the battery barely forward enough to reach my fingers down in there and flip it no problem on / off. ….. as far as the harness and wires and all that goes I think you may need to fool with tucking some wires down on the harness like you say to get that fitment a little better.

How is the range compared to a stock surron battery?
@JUSTINHAWKSMITH Жыл бұрын
It calculates out using the battery specs to 20% more range. Or 20% more capable than stock battery for your riding experience.

Just curious. What made you go with that wheel and tire size set up? I’m running 17 super moto wheels with 2.75 in the rear and 2.50 front shinko 241s and it feels pretty good but I’m looking for a bit wider rear tire.
@JUSTINHAWKSMITH Жыл бұрын
To be honest nothing specific really , charged cycle works had these wheels in stock when my factory sets spokes all loosened up for the 3rd different time. Wanted something fast , in stock , & easy so went with these.

@JUSTINHAWKSMITH Жыл бұрын
I may have tire size wrong on the app , but yeah with a 54T sprocket and a 16” rear wheel setup it will take away quiet a bit of top speed

Why don't you take it off and put a long battery straps
@JUSTINHAWKSMITH Жыл бұрын
I’m not really a huge fan of the looks of battery straps and no battery lid cover… cause then I have the locking mechanism that would be useless & 2 tabs off the frame that would be useless and ugly. So for aesthetic reasons I run the battery lid cover thingy lol… thanks for watching!
