The newer models apparently have rocket mode for 60 seconds and you can press it again as soon as it goes off. Charged cycle works has a 58ah battery upgrade and BAC8000 controller that claims 16kw continuous and 30kw max

Is this a Troll Video? The Rider on the Sur ron is 220lb and the Rider on RFN is 140lb. You made my Day.

Rabbit mode is likely the setting for trials riding. I can't wait to get one of these rfn bikes. I have a pair of frz 1300 48v and they're pretty cool. I was going to upgrade them but the rfn is the way to go. In black of course.

Sur Ron kept up with it really well The rfn might be better on a spec sheet but I’ll take the Sur Ron over it everyday

@@shockadellick there are a LOT of bikes that beat the Sur Ron on a spec sheet The cake kalk, the mantis, the rfn, Moto tech venom, alta redshift, stark varg, etc The reason the Sur Ron has prevailed all these years is because it has the most aftermarket upgrades and some of the best customer service as well the Sur Ron may not be the best bike out of the box but if something breaks on it or you want to upgrade it later it is BY FAR the best bike for that. And personally I think the Sur Ron is almost equal to the sting at least if we’re talking about both 2023 variants because before the Sur Ron had the smaller and weaker battery but now that they’re the same really the only thing the talaria beats the Sur Ron in is with its gearbox but that also means oil changes and harder to fix also you wouldn’t even really ever use it if you are a street rider which is what I am and why I prefer the Sur Ron but I completely understand if you like the sting more it’s really just preference but I definitely wouldn’t say it’s better (once again if there both the 2023 model)

@@shockadellick I watched the video and I agree but I think my point still holds in the fact that it’s really about preference Almost all of the points you mentioned really only matter if you ride it on dirt trails or in dirt bike races where you are doing some pretty serious and particular riding which once again for the average person who just rides it in their neighborhood or city to have a little fun and explore it doesn’t really matter. And I think that if you were going to get an e-bike meant for off riding there are plenty of better choices than the talaria for the same price So my conclusion which you may disagree with is… the sur ron is an all around very capable bike, needing less management and being a more upgradable bike with slightly more affordability it’s a better bike for on road riding and for daily use however, it lacks some aspects in off-roading The talaria on the other hand is better for off road riding due to its sturdier structure and gear box. Also not to be annoying or rude but… the sur Ron was never meant to be a full on dirt bike and never claimed to be, on the web page of the sur ron on builtebikes.com it says “Part dirt bike, part motorcycle. Part mountain bike It's all electric” it’s a mountain bike mixed with a dirt bike so it’s not going to be 100% perfect for dirt bike styles of riding as it wasn’t made for it. but for what it is it is one of the best ‘e-bikes’ on the market and personally my favorite over the talaria I do however respect your opinion completely and I can see the talaria being the better off roading bike 100%

The reason the SuRRon has so much aftermarket is because MOST of its components are cheap trashy junk and must be upgraded.

I would say sting R and sur Ron are equal just personal preference

I think the bike is better than a surron from stock and its potential upgrade path for power, but as i said before the 10 second boost will not be constant with out swapping the cells from lg to molicel and lose a fraction of capacity for alot bigger power, enough to shame the surron and make it equivelent to the KO motor setup that costs alot more than the rfn and that has the trick wheels and suspension stock.

Hi Nuclear we are working with the factory to make a new battery pack with higher C rate and overall increased size of 2.8kwh. We have a pack being tested that will allow rocket mode to stay on. It will need the normal temperature foldbacks etc but much better than the LG cells we tested which have a lower C rate.
