Why not? I personally know guys in their late 70's riding surrons. They're really for all ages. If an 80 year old can ride a harley, you can certainly ride a surron. Just be safe and don't take any unnecessary risks. If you don't like the idea of riding on the street just throw it in the back of your car and bring it to the trails yourself. Use your retirement money to its full advantage my guy!

As a mountainbiker i used to hate surrons, i hated them because they were electric and i just didnt like anything with a throttle, but after finding out about Surronster's channel i started loving them, keep up the good work!

With the temp you can't just go off the external temps with your hand, the windings inside can heat up a lot faster and get to critical before the case of the motor can pull that heat away. I bet the 200C you saw was real, maybe she needs a motor upgrade as well?

highly doubt the 200c was accurate. his cutoff is set to 120c so how would it even get there. it takes a decent bit of a lot of power to get it to climb up to 200c. probably faulty sensor.

The rear pegs go the other way. Having them this way, when you stand on them for a wheelie, they will fold backward and your feet fall off. Turn them back around...

I've built several custom golf carts from the frame up and the problem that seemed to be the hardest to figure out was weird electrical issues I ended up creating. I always started by cleaning them really good and ended up get moisture in the most unassuming places. I would use my blower to dry them. After I started using a air compressor jet nozzle to really dry all of my electronics really good is when my problems stopped. I know they're different but it might help you out in the future. I find the back pegs dangerous because once on them at the first acceleration the weight being pushed backwards, the feet will push them backwards and close them the best position would have been closed fold upwards and never backwards or forwards but this bike is great you managed to make me want to have one

I was about to say at the intro that chain was an accident ready to happen, damn and a lose sprocket, Yikes! JFYI, a pure and simple bottle of "Simple Green" from Lowes or Home Depot will do what that whole cleaning spray foam power washer apparatus does. Just wash off with a garden hose and your thumb partially over the end.
