Great video and great shots thank you. Those sidelit/backlit shots are amazing. I enjoy seeing the similarities and differences between your red deer and our elk - wapiti. Many here in my neck of the woods - western Canada - don’t learn the lesson that “Herbie-vores” with antlers or horns aren’t gonna run away during mating season - in fact the opposite. It’s troubling how many close calls we see between stupid humans and rutting elk or moose.

Simply a wonderful experience. I photograph elk and white tail deer here in the southern US and those seem to be a mix of the 2. That looks like a great time and you got some wonderful images! Thanks for bringing us along!

Was there a particular reason that you used the grouse v plus instead of the V6?

The V+ is a lighter and a bit more spacious so I prefer it if I'm only sitting in a chair
