Hey Seri! I noticed that you are using the secondary howl to try and mark carcasses. To mark a carcass you actually need to use the primary howl, so just one tap on the howl key to mark a carcass, a pink X should show up on the compass and map. Oh and when you hunt beavers the stalking doesn't really do anything for giving you extra damage and the beavers will end up noticing you, to hunt beaver you should hold the control button near a beaver trail (beaver trails are kinda hard to see but there should be an area where there is no grass and if you go into scent mode you should see some beaver tracks on it), your wolf will automatically drop into a crouch. Once the beaver gets close enough you hold the shift key this will make your wolf get ready to pounce and will give you a huge damage boost when attacking the beaver. Hope this helps!

@gelato Thank you 😊 She just completed her first year, I'm playing as her again and she has only one female pup this time. Not surprised tho, her mate is a 1 star and there both black wolves TwT And she also hunted a domestic cow calf for the first time ever! It was very scary but also kinda fun 😸

I LOVE LOVE this adventure we have with cali, and I think that if she ever gets a mate his name should be Venture or journey as if being with him brings out her wild wild side and gets her to find more buildings etc with him, and she feels more braver to Venture into human areas but still keeping a close eye to their surrounding Idk if my idea will work but I'd be glad to see my idea

Hi! Noticed you used double howl to mark the carcass. You actually need to mark it with a primary howl for it to show up on radar and map! Hope this helped and have a great day ight!

Hey Seri❤ I came to realization that you called the elk with antlers bull elk. The elk with smaller antlers in the fall are spike elk, or young bull elk, whereas the elk with bigger antlers are bull elk. Hope I helped!

That is really dangerous tho- And you have to be really sneaky, fast and you will have to listen to your surroundings. Especially since Seri is new to this new Lost River map she might not want to yet. And honestly very understandable. I only made it to the cattle ranch once and I tried to kill a calf but when they did that " MOOOoooo " I kinda got really scared, and had my wolf run for her life :,) I'm a cautious person in general, so my wolves are naturally gonna be very cautious.

I feel like it would be very helpful for you to go to settings and make it so that you can see the amount of damage you give and receive from prey. This can help you get better bites with a higher "damage given : damage received" ratio.

Hey Seri! I know I'm late, but I have a hunting tip for if you see it. When you're hunting elk and they're running uphill or downhill, they can stumble and they'll be struggling for a few seconds, you get an opening to get them. I've also noticed that elk that stumble are elk that are weaker than the others. It's also worth it to bite a few elk to figure out their health before you choose one to kill. So even if you've picked an elk to kill, if one stumbles, it's better to kill the one that stumbles because they'll probably be easier to kill.

tip for killing elk, try to get the elk to run and if they turn their back on you defending themselves that means they might be weak or about to die.

All the elk hunting in this episode reminded me of one of my favorite animals, the Tule elk. they were hunted to almost extinction during the gold rush, which is unfortunate. Anyways, did you know young bulls are called "spikes"? I think it's kind of funny

Apparently stranger wolves won’t actually when actually I had to start two words from the word packs while I was playing with Krista yesterday or the day before yesterday or something but they didn’t attack until I growled at them….. one of them actually waged it’s tail 😭😭 So if you have a wolf attack make sure they’re not wagging their tail or just standing in there because they didn’t immediately attack I still feel bad because I chased them awayQwQ
