Surrounded by Wolves /Dried Rations Review / The Death Bucket - Fail

We've decided to carry out some experiments with radiation at the "Bucket of death". But the experiment didn't go exactly as planned... At night while we were sleeping we had a visitor! And I installed several hidden cameras in Pripyat. We put some food in front of one camera to film wild animals... But before dawn, the WOLVES showed up and we got surrounded...

That Pripyat delivery service is really quiet amazing. How do you pay them? There's probably some underground abandoned military service bunker in the area full of sealed rations. I'm amazed with this service. It's like ordering pizza in war torn Afghanistan. It's the last thing you would expect there.

It's not that dangerous. You'd need to stay there for a long time. It's a point source, not a full body dose. They got more radiated from their x-ray gun experiment in a few minutes or actually a few seconds, than a whole day in pripyat. Pripyat is relatively clean these days.

It is actually quite easy to find the house they are/were living in on a map. One just needs to look at their footage closely. The shapes of the buildings, location of the powerplant and the forest. If I ever happen to visit Pripyat, it would be a fun little game to find the flat.

If I would found such a nice cosy stalker flat, I would try to leave it in better condition than I found it and leave some small gift (Vodka) as sign of my presence. Unfortunetly not everyone is like You and Me. Ps You should find a well hidden locker or even take some and bury it underground in secret spot for all your valuable things, and remember to bring locks with you. I hope noone is gonna vandalise your place again!!!

A few years ago I watched a documentary about chernobyl. It wasnt the HBO documentary but a different one. Those guys that gave their lives to do the best they could to contain the radiation were heros. Kind of sad because they were laughing and joking around because no effect was apparent until hours later. Those men went through hell, and if not for them, so many people would have been exposed. This made me think very high of the Russian people.

Not even close to radiation poisoning. At least not if the radiation detector shows the correct value. You would have to be right next to the thing for lots of hours to get even close to mild radiation poisoning at the measured dose-rate of 1R/h.

I would recommend you to invest in a food dryer, if you buy a descent one you can dry basically any food at home (meat, fruit, fish, even complete meals). Those freeze dried packages you can buy in stores are really expensive and often aren't that tasty anyway.
