You sctually don't need to worry about ammo if you never enter the map again. All loaded turrets have infinite ammo during autodefend. Also, Autodefend system counts your bot strength vs their bot stength, if yours is higher the wave is repelled and your bot strength is lowered by a function based on the difference in strength, and then it is raised by the number of healers you have, both healing bots and menders.

Challenge idea: attack enemy base but you can't stockpile units, you have to send them out as they are produced. Win by overwhelming their defences with like 50 factories!

Video 2 of asking Firefly to do this challenge. Challenge Idea: Go to an extreme or above attack sector and before you attack the enemy structures, survive 100-200 (or more if that is too easy) waves. After that, capture the Sector like normal. This is a good challenge because Attack Sector waves are usually harder than normal waves because you can complete attack sectors super fast by blitzing the core.

On maps with lots of water and little coal you can build cultivators to make spores which you can burn for power or press into oil and then coal (better?). Use a solar cell to get one cultivator up and running to kick start it, but do not connect it to anything until your spore production gets up to speed. You can use coal+sand+lead to make thermal compound which makes more power than plain coal.
