Good method, good content, repeating and slow BIGGER Chinese sizes that would be nice, put the Eng at the right location below the Chinese letters, no need to make English correct sentences

when you said 然后每个学生会在一个中国家庭呆一个星期 is not necesary to use 跟？i mean 然后每个学生会在 ( 跟 ) 一个中国家庭呆一个星期-- i was wondering if it would be correct or not ?? besides this, i would like to know if when you said 我喜欢你做的美味的食物 it is necesary to repeat 的, can i drop the last 的 and say 我喜欢你做的(美味食物)instead ?

nihao,Yes,you can say "我喜欢你做的美味食物",but it sounds better we say "我喜欢你做的美味的食物",here 美味的 sounds more strong which the dish is delicious.

Interrupting the sentence to translate individual words is not helpful. I rely on the arrow keys to skip the interrupted sentences, then hit the back arrow once or twice to repeat. Nice work though.

What a pity the narrator feels we need to HEAR the English translation. It's written underneath. We can read it. Hearing English is just a distraction. Besides reading it in English we can also follow it as she indicates the meaning with the arrow. We are here to learn Mandarin not English or are we here to learn both. I hope not.
