It's important to remember that, unlike the Rambo 3, the Rambo 1 and 2 knives were only "licensed" by the movie studio, NOT the maker. Jimmy Lile would have at least insisted the saw blades had angled teeth (like the Buckmaster shown) and worked. Points for flat out stating those United Cutlery were wall hangers.

I love hollow handle knives like the cold steel bushman; so light but so durable for its weight. I have my eyes on a holly handle cane machete that's rough out of package but has lots of potential.

Too bad you don't have a Gerber BMF w/ sawtooth. That was by far my favorite. The little known Buckmaster LT was a great one as well. I had a Parker Brothers copy of the Gerber Mark 2 w/ Green handle & Green leather sheath that someone stole. Also had the Rambo 3 knife. Best decade for knifes! Stallone made the knife & archery

The only custom makers using aluminium for hollow handles are those from Pakistan. Anyone who knows anything about the construction of these knows you need stronger metal than aluminium.

I would like that shit back in the center too! ahhh ah but I'm reforging it but I did it well! that it is robust and reliable! , but I don't understand one thing, the kids of the 80s and the companies that produced it all called it rambo knife! but seeing it compared to the real rambo knife is totally different! where the hell did this model come from? that is, it would be interesting to discover the origin of the model from which they were truly inspired! , because calling it Rambo Knife is an insult to Jimmy Lile!

I think it was called a "Rambo" knife due to the knife having both a saw back and hollow handle. But that is where it ends.
