Or just be a new protagonist half-way through. I mean, nothing forbids that the mc dies, so they could pull a kaede with damon or just kill him in chapter 3 or 4 and switch the pov to diana. This could work because: A-her animal is the chameleon, so it is like to say she is our self-insert and "adapts" to us becoming our POV B-if damon dies she could do something similar to Wolfgang. She understands that even if he wasn't really social he still didn't want anyone to die and so also inherits his will and becomes the one leading the trials in his stead.

I actually think Damon will survive but by being a blackened. When I was watching chapter one, I was amazed at how many times the students were ready to vote just by having Damon guide them. He would be a force to be reckoned with AND it would be a good twist- especially since he’s aligned with the snake. He may have a good heart, but with more and more trails, he might become more selfish.

I think you could be onto something. I really like this concept. How tragic would it be for the game to end with only Damon standing, having betrayed everyone at the very last moment (tricking them into voting the incorrect person) when he was the one that constantly saved them trial after trial. It would fit narratively with his complex and views on how the other talents are undeserving. Of course I’m hoping Damon undergoes character growth and we get a somewhat happier ending, but this idea would be so cool. Like you get to the final trial, and you’re trying to solve the case only to find out (plot twist) you were just trying to trick everyone into blaming an innocent person. Like maybe in the middle of the story, Damon downward spirals more and more, which pushes him to the edge of thinking he has to get out at all cost. Perhaps at that point, he’s just tired to leading the cases and also becomes more and more isolated in his mind. Orrr…. He realizes how gullible everyone is and takes the opportunity to lead them astray-- also proving in his mind he is better than all of them (and he holds the ultimate title above all). I would honestly like this ending, especially if there is no mastermind (Damon would still be a traitor though, obviously). The idea that the killing games were in their hands and all the bloodshed was created by themselves (like how Damon said they created this environment of distrust at the end of chapter 1 that lead to the first victim and first blackened) would be such an ingrained message. I can see parallels to squid game with need for survival and desperation/despair coming out on top- also commentary on being ultimates and competing to be the best while f’ing others over to get there.

something i think will happen is that someone will try to kill toshiko, and then ingrid protects her but ends up accidentally killing the attempted murderer, making for a sad reveal and maybe spurring a character arc for toshiko, and she will be a final survivor. as for other character predictions, i think either eloise or desmond will be a final survivor, but likely not both, ulysses is likely to be an early victim, wenona will either be an early killer or make it to the end, and diana & kai will likely be late deaths.

Kai theory 🦋(might be bit of a stretch), what if he’s the mastermind? If the idea that the butterfly effect is what tied to his motives, then his influencer talent really fits. One person gathering this massive following of people the hinges on his every word, obsessed with his to an unhealthy degree, and defend him when those are against him. It’s possible the one behind the scenes running the games are his most dedicated fans, along with having so much control over everyone decisions in the game. It could also mean he’s fact the fragile and sensitive person, since a lot of in influencers fact there really selfs for the cameras at time those around them to keep up the image. Makes him an easy looking kill, but also not the threat in the trial.

*SPOILERS/PREDICTIONS FOR ALL OF PROJECT EDEN’S GARDEN AHEAD!!!* So, after playing through Chapter 1, and hearing some theories, I think I have been able to pinpoint Chapter 2’s victim and killer, as well as Chapter 3’s victim, and even the final twist. Firstly, just by looking at the arrangements in the trial room and Report Card, we can get a pretty good guess at who will *not* be the victim (Granted, none of this is set in stone, but killing off these characters would really just be for the sake of pulling a fast one on the audience). It would be really unbalanced to have the victim be one of the people next to Wolfgang or Eva during the trial (Cassidy, Eloise, Jean and Jett) or in the report cards (Wenona, Ulysses and Cassidy…again). It’s highly unlikely for Damon or Diana to be the victim, since they already made a show of killing the “important mainstay characters”, and it wouldn’t have much of an impact if they did that again, especially since they’d be killing Diana before her character fully develops (which is something Danganronpa is notorious for doing). Add to that the unlikely possibility they’d kill yet another female (since Cara and Eva outnumber Wolfgang already), and that eliminates Toshiko, Grace and Ingrid, leaving only Mark, Desmond and Kai remaining. Of the three, Kai seems to be both a fan favorite and someone being set up as a supporting role, so of the two remaining, I think Mark is the most likely victim. I say this because many people liken Chapter 1 to the first major sin in the Bible: Eve listening to the Devil and eating from the Tree of Knowledge, much like how Eva made a deal with Tozu and acquired the tablet which could access the security cameras (thus gaining forbidden knowledge). This would mean Chapter 2 is based off the second major sin of the Bible, Cain killing his brother Abel. Now, who’s the one who keeps calling another student their brother? Jett, calling Mark his “broskii”. I believe that Jett, for one reason or another, will kill Mark next chapter, and be punished because of it. It could even work that Cassidy is the opponent for the Argument Altercation, similarly to how the second rhythm game battle was usually fought against someone close to the culprit. Not to mention, his talent works really well for an execution, perhaps something similar to Mondo, ending with a crash, where his face is finally revealed. Moving on to Chapter 3, there are way too many dead people either grouped near each other or on Damon’s left side during the trial, so the next victim will most likely be on his right, away from the others, and since the first two victims were male, this chapters’s victim almost has to be female. The only two who fit that bill are Ingrid and Grace, and my vote goes to Ingrid, as her being such a strong beacon for the others will cause a lot of despair, especially for Toshiko (not to mention, I think there’s more character development for Grace incoming). Finally, I predict that Diana will become corrupted by the killing game, subtly changing for the worse every chapter as she witnesses more and more of her friends dying, until she, like the chameleon, adapts to her surroundings, becoming a despairing, paranoid shell of her former self. This could set her up to be the final killer, becoming so desperate to end the killing game that she takes it upon herself to do the dirty work. This would be quite the change from the “happy-go-lucky hopeful hero” that we’ve seen in the original series from characters like Makoto, which it seems like Diana is becoming this game’s version of. It would also make her declaration of “following in Wolfgang’s footsteps” painfully ironic, seeing how broken we saw him just before his death in Chapter 1, and it would also be an interesting reversal of Damon having to defend her from being accused of Wolfgang’s murder in said chapter. Now, for the mastermind, I believe Tozu will be revealed to be Cara’s father, driven mad with anger and grief after the school tried to cover up his daughter’s death. Mara could either be Cara’s sister or her friend, and the killing game is Tozu’s way of enacting vengeance against Eden’s Garden Academy. I also have my own theory on chapter 2, it is very different that yours.. The rest of the things still can be true.. But I want to share my theory.. See.. I belive we have an fuhuhiko and peko situation on our hands. Desmond secret says as follows! : "with his weapons at hand, desmond guards the only one he trust" We know that the fisrt part refers to the weapons in his room.. But... What about the second part? Eva purposely wanted people to focus only on the fisrt part to make him look suspicious and we didn't event think on questioning the later part.. What about "the only one he can trust"? Who is it?.. Not only that.. Eva also purposely never revealed the picture, each motive this chapter had the phrase on the back and a photo on the front... Was does desmond photo had? Well.. It would be easy to say that himself is the "only one he trust" but... What if it is someone else? What if.. The person he trust and defends using his weapons is someone in the cast? Then.. Only one person makes sense.. Eloise.. They are always together, the most obvious example is at the beginning of the trail were the two of them gang up against grace. And more obscurely.. Is the scene of the bunk buddy system.. Were desmond proposes the idea of everyone having a bunk buddy to share rooms.. Cassidy accuses desmond of "exposing us" and Eloise defends desmond by explaining his reasoning.. Later... Desmond tries to say that ervyeone can room with who they like.. But toshiko interrupts him by saying her match making stuff.. Eloise protest against that.... Again when Ingrid proposes that everyone would be more comfortable sleeping with the same gender.. Thing that Eloise reacts with "w-we are splitting it by gender?" And finally when the boys go to the dining hall to decide their pairing.. Eloise is watching silently as they go away and the screen cuts to black. Well.. What I am saying is... Eloise and desmond might have an relationship... Even before the killing game.. At such.. Well before that.. I think ullyses is victim.. Since he forms part of the "rebbutal showdosm crew" he can't smell.. And his note were useful, I think he is next to die... And the killer.. Well I don't know... Is either between Eloise and desmond.... But I can't help but to notice that their talents match perfectly with the minigames. Eloise will do the rebbutal showdown becuse swords... And desmond is going to do the bullet hell battle since he is a marks man..

@@mysteriousone1206 what they meant by that is that they aren't going to follow the most awaited troupes.. The most recognized one. Like double victim chapter 3, buff character dies chalter 4. The revelation of an serial killer hiding in the group chapter 2. Specific troupes and murder plans are still there for their own spin... For example the plan for chapter 1 is very similar to pekos plan, with the two different notes for her victim and person who they wanted to Frame on different periods of time.. Relaying on the frame party to be caught becuse of their hazy escape.. And combining that with the rudegolver machine like kaede did.. With the vent.. As well as the victim taking a knife for "presumably" self defense.. Like with sayaka.. They combined many of the alredy seen murder plots to make something original.. The troupe for chapter 1 that they did break was the "the victim wasn't the intended target" sayaka was victim the intended target was Leon.. The target was nagito but impostor died.. The target was mastermind but rantaro died... In this case Wolfgang was the intended victim from the beginning. Like I said.. They actually could do something original here.. That's why I said I am not sure if desmond or Eloise would be the killer here... The killer could be desmond killing to protect Eloise.. But that's too similar to peko.. Or Eloise could be the killer.. And that would make an spin to the original troupe.. This last outcome would allow us to see what would had been if fuhuhiko was the culprit instead of peko.... I can imagine two people dying (not in chapter 3) and after his body has been checked or something, someone replaces him with another death body. (They have multiple of the same outfits in their rooms) so if there’s only the one helmet all u got to do is pop it off. Obviously for whatever reason the cast might not be able to inspect the body close enough to notice the clothes just don’t sit on the other body as it would on Jett’s. That or is simply a dummy first on display as “dead” as Jett. Maybe someone asks if Tozu has dolls of the participants and puts doll Jett in there. Then they kill Real Jett and replace him when the time is right. To throw people off with the time of death and or the first 3 people who find the body. Though that obviously has its holes and is a half baked idea. But I’m sure if actually worked on with effort could be turned into something functional.

I get the feeling Kai will be Chapter 5 killer. In the past, Chapter 5 killers are usually the one everyone likes (excluding THH). Also, the trap in THH was for both Naegi and Kirigiri, Junko wanted to eliminate one of them. Whereas DR1 we didn't know the victim, DR2 we didn't know the culprit (who threw the fire bomb), and NDRV3 we didnt know which among the 2 was the killer and victim.

You can skip this. I just have a theory and nagging feeling that won't leave my mind, that either Jett or Mark is going to die and maybe the other one remains alive. I guess I'm just going for something similar to the friendship of Taka and Mondo, or rather Tenko and Himiko... There's a lot of potential for this game to try new things and not go similar to the others but I just think this "onesided" friendship has a lot of potent.. Either for a character or for a case itself.. If Jett died and their friendship developed a bit, it could give Mark the chance to get more development and get even more important for the story (positive) or become a murderer for an egotistical reason (negative). And if Mark died it could either break Jett for the trial (negative) or make him actually want to find the murderer and take the trials more "seriously" from that point on. (positive) And tbh, I think the creators are going to slowly try to build their friendship up in silence to then tear that apart with another case. For me either one of them dies or both do, but I don't think the two will stay alive together at the end. That's just my silly thoughts. 🤟 (I will not say my theories on the others because I will just sound like a broken record with all the other comments talking about them as well HAHA)

I love Kai he's so stupid and I chose him as my favorite right after the first dialogue with him. There are some people I think are DEFINITELY dying, such as Wenona, Ingrid, and Jean. With Kai, I could see either. He probably won't be a murderer, at the very least I can't see him killing intentionally. Planning it, following through with it, having it be any good, being able to handle the stress of it all, I can't see him doing any of that or even thinking he's capable. There would have to be extreme circumstances to ever push this guy to murder. I feel pretty confident saying he won't die next chapter, or in early game at all. It makes no sense. He's not going to want to be alone for a single second after the first chapter. He's already afraid of being alone, as most of the students are. He's not gonna wanna leave Damon's side, and I just can't see anyone getting an opening next chapter. In game logic aside, it would be a big waste for him to die early. I see him living to nearly the end of the game to maybe even surviving. He's going to be an important person for Damon and him dying in chapter 5 or 6 could be interesting for Damon's character. My case for him surviving is weaker as I can't see what value his current character would have story-wise. From what we've seen, he's not the proactive type. He won't be encouraging others, leading trials, leading investigations, providing relevant knowledge, causing important plot points, he's sort of cowardly, and it seems a lot of his potential is in dying, however that could be just what helps him survive. My only other argument for his survival is that the besties live and it would be really funny, trust. Regardless, it's too early to tell much. So many possibilities and it's not clear which ones are likely. Ideally, Kai lives and gets epic character development, but I'm actually a really unlucky person so I won't hold my breath. Hope none of this comes back to bite me, please live Kai, my problematic king

I feel like ultimately Diana will try to keep everyone together but as the chapters go on she ends up putting her own life first (which would be a foil to Damon, starting out against the group but (presumably) trusting them, whereas Diana will start out trusting but end with putting her life above others (and surviving)

My own Edens Garden predictions (entirely vibes based so ofc these might not end up being accurate): Who I think will live: -Wendna (Something about her just makes me feel she's the type everyone would expect would be a murderer and everyone also thinks she'll die in Chapter 2 and I feel the game would try to subvert that. Also I'm biased because she's my favourite) -Diana (I think narratively, she'll fit as the new, but weaker, foil for Damion so I think she'll live simply for the plot. Plus it'd be cruely funny if the person who fails to promise to protect everyone ends up watching everyone else die) -Kai (Just something about him makes me believe he's too uninteresting to be killed and just unable to kill anyone either). Who I think will most likely not live (as a murderer) -Cassidy (based on her communist motif, I don't just think she'll kill someone and wouldn't put it past her, but it'll either be Wendna (business entreprenuer), Toshiko (connections with rich people), or Grace (golf = rich person sport). -Eldise (I think her ultimate dooms her from living. I also think she'll die in self-defense like you mentioned. If Cassidy doesn't kill Grace, I feel Eldise definitely will). -Uylesses (I think he's a similar case to Eva of being a bit anti-social and would know how to kill someone and would probably be unphased by doing so.) Who I think will die (as a victim) -Grace (Definitely a victim. Since I don't think Wendna will die, I strongly feel Cassidy would be the one to kill her especially with a contrast of her asshole persona to Cassidy's more friendlier one + was close with Wolfgang. If not from Cassidy, definitely from Eldise). -Ingrid (All the super buff characters in these games don't really live long. I don't see her being the type to kill someone though.) -Desmond (It'd be too predictable if he killed someone. I could see someone killing him in a very discrete way especially due to the fear of his knowledge with weapons. Going by this logic, I feel Uylesses would have the brains to kill him in such a way) Who I think will most likely die (Unsure as a culprit or victim): -Jean (Similar to Ingrid but I see the potential of him killing someone.) Unsure: -Daimon (I could see them pulling a V3 in a later chapter of him either being a victim or murdered. Narratively, I could see his being too prideful to be caught or too prideful to be killed. I still feel if that happens, I think that just further supports Diana taking up the role as a main character) -Jett (Not sure since as you mentioned, he survived an accident before. But I feel he doesn't have the heart to kill. If he dies later on, I strongly feel he'd be a victim of a case) -Mark (Just not sure overall) -Toshiko (Cassidy has that small motive to kill her but I don't think she'd target Toshiko. I could see her as a survivor, I could see someone else targetting her, she might also kill by accident she's she's a child and not knowledgable about some things)

If the Mastermind is not a Junko 2.0 like Tsumugi was in V3 but rather someone who is sympathetic and hosts/co-hosts the killing game against their will. My Predictions on who'll be the mastermind: Toshiko, Ulysses, Kai, Cassidy, Mark or Jett.

As Elpato said i also don't think there is a mastermind. It's probably just Tozu. It could happen he has superiors and he is just one of the goons of an organization that has organised everything for reasons we'll discover but i don't think there'll be some kinda mastermind among the students. Also because it is just a dr trope, which they try not to follow. I think there could still be someone who collabs with Tozu's group but i don't think they are the ones who created the game. Besides, P:EG seems more granted in reality, there really isn't people with some weird paranormal ability or paranormal anime moment. The killing game host is not a robot but a real human, so i don't think there is anything like "the world ended' or "actually a teenager planned everything".

Heres my predictions on all of the future chapter victims & killers. Victim: Grace Killer: Eloise/Diana Why id choose either of those two its bc Diana has a really really big killer aura. Especially bc shes a cosmetologist. While Eloise is bc she have some kind of beef with her when she has Grace's blackmail card. Victim: Ulysses Killer: Jean/Diana Why id chose Diana again, its bc hes like the easiet guy Diana to kill. While Jean, i dont really know, hes just have that vibe, or it could be the other way around where Ulysses kill Jean instead. Victim: Toshiko and Ingrid Killer: Jett/Mark or Jett and Mark Toshiko and Ingrid give me Hiyoko and Ibuki vibe, especially they have a special big-lil sis bond, then Jett and Mark would work together to murder each one of them, or maybe only Jett/Mark(heavy on Jett tho). Victim: Cassidy Killer: Kai/Mark Kai's giving me killer rage vibes, especially he always seems so paranoid like Mikan's but anw yeah. While Mark, they both kinda have like the same vibes one being a pro gamer and one a music producer. Survivor: Damon, Wenona, Desmond Wenona giving me big Byakuya vibes, for me, shes 100% surviving(unless someone smart enough to kill her first) and Desmond, i dont really see anything about him, despite maybe being the ultimate marksman which is expert at weapon, hes maybe the bland survivor like Asahina, Himiko, and half the cast of Danganronpa 2. While Damon, obviously bc hes the MC, but we cant cross the possibility hes going to be like Kaedead.

One problem with the Diana prediction: as of this chapter she's actually not that competent or good at trials. She tried to rally the group, but failed. Frankly, I see Diana either dying soon, or surviving until the end. Either she becomes a hero (defying Damon's expectations, which I suspect will happen a lot in this story), or denying by failing to meet expectations. She's not good at this game or in this setting, but the events in this chapter might make her motivated to do better. Of course, I guess that was the same case with Wolfgang, except he WAS good at trials, so who knows.

Here's my theory:the game is supposed to give the students dispair so when I saw I theory about Jett dying and Mark becoming depressed and gets development isn't going to work with the despair/negative and will make mark forgettable (himiko)(also Damon and grace are having these arc rn kinda),so in my theory mark dies and Jett after his best friend (friendship development or smth)get really close to mark and after his dead Jett becomes negative and detrusting and as a coyote are those who can humor in the darkest times and slow fades away (also I think since the second/first closest person close to Jett is Cassidy it make it like chapter 5 which Jett will defend Cassidy since shell be the only other close person he got and realizing his best friend died of his other friends hand will be the Perfect with the negative Conclusion:chapter 2 victim mark Chapter two killer:cassidy

I feel like Eloise might be the chapter 3 culprit. My theory is that someone else will kill another student, but Eloise catches them in the act. She attacks the culprit in an attempt to save the victim, who unfortunately has already died, and unintentionally kills the first culprit, making her the murderer for this case. I mean, her demeanor initially led me to think that “yeah she’s likely a victim” but after learning she’s a fencer and finishing chapter 1 I’m very firm on this theory
