I have a 2005 Polaris Ranger XP 700 that I bought brand new. They are tough machines and not hard to work on. I have replaced the whole suspension piece by piece over the years. The engine is still going strong. And, I ride in some rough, rocky areas.

For the money , they are great machines!

I don’t yet own a Solix, but I do own other Anker products. I have never been disappointed.

Thanks for posting this video. We have a Ranger that looks to be about the same age as yours though it’s a 400. Love that thing! I don’t know how we ever got things done on our farm without it (aside from the fact that we were younger and stronger then.) 😆 But in all the time we’ve had that Ranger and used it for overland camping, I never once thought about anchoring a tarp to the receiver holes along the sides of the dump bed. Brilliant! Can’t wait to play around with that setup.

I like your cook set. I have one just about like it. I think I picked it up at K mart or maybe Wal mart about 40+ years ago. I don't use it much these days but it is great for cooking for multiple people.

I gre up with one of those nested pots & plates sets. Mom and Dad called it a "camp kitchen." I remember it well. ( I think my brother still has it.)

If you decide to sell the side by side for a decent price I’ll buy it lol. Those machines can last a lifetime if taken care of and can be repaired fairly cheaply. The prices are way to high on market place and I could sure use one on the trap line.

I have the same pot kit with kettle and plates. 👌

Bluetooth only has a range of 30 to 60 feet, so a little hard to turn things on or off if you are away from camp

I'd add a large tarp to completely cover the atv. That 8x8 will not work with all that gear and a person or two underneath.
@stiffchocolate7546Ай бұрын
You should put a solar panel on the roof so you can charge that battery thing

I can remember when I was a kid, an ATV is actually had THREE wheels: I wonder what it would’ve been like to outfit one of those old “dust runners” like this.🤓

I consider the camping possibilities with side by sides the same as car camping in the 1920s. If you have areas to go longer distances or places with lots of trails that you can get off and camp. I see them brought in on trailers and then parked at one of the local motels at night. So much wasted use IMO.

Try camping when you are busted up 76 year old man. I drive offroad trails until I get to my destination and I park my RZR at a Best Western with a pool and hot tub. Clean sheets, shower, hot breakfast, cable tv, nice bedroom. I have an fully enclosed RZR 50" trail with a Inferno Heater. Its highway legal in Michigan not counting Interstates Highway. I can go where jeeps can't fit through.
@57WillysCJАй бұрын
@@captseamus Not far off from you but I work around it. Everyone does what they can. 98% of the people I see on the trail are not in that condition. Mostly they are over weight. My old Jeeps and Samurai go where todays Jeeps don't go. They weren't as big in the old days. If I could afford a decent Model T I would use it. Before atv trails there Jeep trails, before Jeep Trails there were Model T trails.

If you're using an atv why mess around with an tarp? Just bring a tent
@jamespaul2587Ай бұрын
Agreed, a tent for sleeping and use the tarp to cover the cargo area

You know that instead of "utilizing" anything you could just "use" it. There's nothing in the word utilize that isn't already in the word use.
