Holy hell. I haven’t listened to any of these songs that you’ve uploaded recently cause I usually ignore things that don’t make immediate sense to me from a thumbnail or title perspective, but damn I really need to now.. this is absolutely brilliant, I usually dislike comparing music to other music (feels a little cheap to me and I for the most part refrain from doing that) but in this here case I can’t really describe it any other way cause I can’t come up with words that work well enough - I do get a lot of A Perfect Circle with a little Nine Inch Nails from this - you know, this otherworldly but oh so familiar and deeply resonant vibe (both from the excellent melodies, exquisite instrumentation but also very much from the way the vocals are performed and the words that are sung - not that I would really get what it’s about cause I suck at interpreting lyrics, I only “understand” music but can appreciate great lyrics if they.. well, simply work). For me it’s a little like jazz noire (or however one would spell or name that genre, am never quite sure), where I have this sensation of being in a less than ideal mental place, but somehow feeling ok and at home with it. A sort of melancholy that sits a little deeper and weighs a little harder, but in a sort of pleasant way, and very few artists get that right (for me that is). Sorry for this rambly comment, it’s almost midnight and I’m typing this on phone so my eloquence is severely lacking but what the hell. Just felt like saying that. I mean it’s obvious that you are a fantastic musician/composer/artist/whateverwordyouwant, otherwise your library reviews wouldn’t be the best on the internet and your voice/opinion wouldn’t be my most trusted source of perspective and information on said products - but still, here I am, surprised to be amazed. Sooo thank you, for both of these things that you have provided me and others with. Truly wonderful :)
