Survival tips (mostly) for wizards - Cabal Online

People who decide to play wizard are faced with survival problems almost instantly. So I gathered some of the tips I could that you can use to get through tough boss fights.
This guide is mainly focused on wizards, but other classes might find it useful as well.

Correct indeed, as a Force Archer Main the hit and run tactics works the best for me especially when I tried to solo Epaulet of the Dead B3F with Low gear or Attack power and Defense Power.

For low levels or poor like me haha, get hp steal runes and max it and vampiric earring, it is a must. A gloves with 2%,3%or 5% hp steal with msa and m. attack because ^dmg = ^steal. Get a good suit with high ups. The rest is propper skill management.

Ahoy, mate! I'm glad you keep making these very good videos. I stopped playing for a while but I wanna start again with a new character. iyo what's the best class (has good survivability and decent dmg from class) if I'm going solo no guild/party playstyle? I've done blader before and that's it.

Ahoy, and welcome back! If you're looking for a character for mostly solo play, you should probably get blader. I'm sure well over half of cabal's current population plays blader because it's so easy my dog could do it :D On a serious note though it's best in combat against 1 target, and can survive quite well in general. It absolutely sucks when it comes to arena-type dungeons with more than 1 enemy to hit, but the majority of the dungeons we farm have 1 boss at a time, so it should be fine. However, due to the fact that so many people are playing that class, its gear is the most expensive. So keep that in mind!

I think it would be wiser to do it on the same account so you can use shared titles, some equipment like pet, charm, and so on.

Hello need some tips from you.. currently playing FA on new server and well we got stirs 21 amp items but on dungs over ft2 it hits like a train. What do you think is it smart to lose some dmg to go for archidium 8 amp instead? Basically all of the accessories are very very expensive for the moment and need some more survivability 😅

Ahoy! Without seeing the rest of your set it's hard to say, but there are 2 things I can suggest: -Get a bike if you don't have already. It's a lot of extra defense and above all defense rate, which is probably even more important. -Replace your helmet first, because that one can be filled with crit dmg for a low price, so you won't have to worry about losing damage if you change from 21->8amp. Other than that, the accessories themselves are pretty significant in survivability too, so maybe if you focus on those first you won't even need to replace your stuff for a while.

Main is FB. Have a question. Edge of phantom last 2 bosses hurt me and need defens. The question is that: I can fill only 1 merit page. Which page can be valuable for me? Ignore penetration or ignore accuracy. Thanks...

If you're a FB with dexterity build, it's likely you will benefit more from ignore accuracy page - not even the evasion part, just focus on maxing out defense rate. Blocking hits with high defense rate is really key to survival in hard dungeons.

Ahoy! What is your battle style? Def rate is definitely better than def, maybe the only exception to that could be WA and GL, but not even sure about them.

Ahoy! A noob question from a person who cant afford an astral bike, how much movement speed on a bike is enough for it to become faster than fade step and dash?

Ahoy! Something around 800 or 900 I think? Not sure, never measured it, or had the means to measure it. But anyway, the main advantage of riding a bike is that it can be used for uneven terrain too. Dash and fade only work in straight lines so they are ineffective when it comes to curved paths.

my blue +20 is faster than dash/fade but slower than dash/blink.

Ahoy! I'd definitely recommend vampiric earrings for any PVE use. I doubt a FG can stack up enough evasion for those earrings to make a difference against anything that can deal serious damage. Perhaps during the 30 seconds that an evasion potion lasts eog can be beneficial but otherwise, go for HP steal all the way.

Ahoy! Main sources of attack rate are: -orbs, higher grades and with higher upgrade level provide more, additionally extreme upgrade adds some too -passive skills, you can get like 2000 from the upgrade skills and I think some class specific skill was added to wizard too that increases attack rate -merit, once you get to lv 170+ it's a very important source of it (around 1400 from gold and another 700ish from platinum grade) -if all else fails... Dex Stat, you can decrease your INT a bit to add more points but this really should be a desperate last resort
