I’m really enjoying this on many levels. I love the protagonists being sisters and while open to interacting with others, not being stupidly romantic, nor continually rescued. I think it’s very brave of the author. I love the narration. I have a thing about voices and I was a bit concerned but a few hours in, I’m loving it. The lack of racism, and the lack of brutal or stupid rape scenes, this is perfect for today’s youth. Not just youth, I’m 58. Thank you!

You mean being soft and being complacent on tackling actual issues such a story should and would provide? Dropped this one time before and last time the comments were pointing this out the utter woke nonsense of somehow romance being a bad/weak thing a women/girl shows is insane also besting males in a fight through the tried and will stun for second but a bad idea to not run of cracking the gonads, please get your taste right for someone of 58

@ ok….i think what you are saying if it ain’t an automatic and most are dead, not enough drama? Station 11, a book and a short series is , and this sounds so silly, my ideal apocalypse. I meant what I said, utube is pretty much the only way I access society, pop culture, so I see a lot of media. This is a really cool story and unique in some ways. I think it would appeal even more to a social justice apocalyptic fiction loving audience. We are diverse. When I hear the stories where there is brutal rape, especially ones where there is no damage, I have to stop. I have other issues. I did not mean to disrespect your values. I don’t like the later years of “The Walking Dead”…comics were cooler.

@christinedidur364 first off for someone listening to audiobooks this reply is bottom of the barrel anything is barely coherent but since your an elderly citizen your allowed to, if KZbin is the only way you access society or the world around you as in actually interacting with the world you probably shouldn't the fact that you know what pop culture is mildly concerning. You say this is a really cool story but let me ask you this why? Because it's hinging on being completely unrealistic women/girls beating up guys twice their size is cool for you? Well idk what to say but please don't encourage such media Or stories to younger audiences especially young girls this typa media is only giving fake guarantees. Hold on did just say this "would appeal even more to a social justice apocalyptic fiction loving audience" Then out of nowhere say "we are diverse" You're liberal aren't you at first I thought your just someone from some corner of the world who had a weird and dangerous sense of what's cool and actual good storytelling. Coming back to your reply in stories where rape scenarios do play out and if the writer doesn't further the victims struggle it's most probably because the victim and the survivors she/he's with are in a predicament where getting emotional or confronting such a despicable act is not first priority or even the world that the author has made is so brutal that getting out of something like that is no big deal that's 2 explanations. You didn't disrespect anybody but yourself by calling this cool when this is just another mary sue story where struggle is superficial and beyond the realistic standpoint men are sex craving caveman who need to be led.i haven't read all of the walking dead comics

Christine I'm 30 years old and I agree with you. Nice change of pace, this series. Yes, we are different with many different likes. So please don't let some Asshole's confusing rant stop you from posting WHATEVER THE HELL YOU LIKE! You seem like a nice, well adjusted person who gave a positive review. I'm sure you're not one of those people hiding in their mom's basement attacking strangers online because no one knows who they are. Have a great day! Keep up the good work, we need more people like you 😊

I'm just to the escape from Susans house and hope the girls will realise that finding un-infected people is not a good thing. Really like the narration.

Robin can be annoyingly mean when it didn’t seem necessary. That said, really good story. Good characters.

I’m on book 4, I am enjoying us immensely. I love the way they’ve grown together and they’ve become one thinking and acting together. Surviving this terrible nightmare not being the victims but being survivors. I love the story. I can’t wait to keep moving forward with it.I think the lady that is doing the voices are amazing. She’s doing an amazing job.

Don't bother the protagonists are mary sues yes 2 of them and the author thinks mild body horror is a achievement for mankind bland and also the characters are blank slats despite it being a literal written medium dk how u achieve that

I’m born and raised in Florida, a lot of people here have New York accents, North Carolina accent. I wouldn’t hold too much on the accent, listen to the story.
