Loved the video @hugedeer22! Can't wait for the next video man! I can think of a few Mods and Monsters that might make things a Bit Interesting. But first, Some Potions! Potions can be Brewed in a Brewing Stand which is made with 3 Stone and a Blaze Rod. The Ingredients for the potion you want to Brew will be at the Top, the Blaze Powder to Fuel the Brewing Stand at the Upper Left hand Corner, and the Three Slots for the Water Bottles to make the Potions in will be along the Bottom below the Ingredient Slot. Each ingredient takes about 20 Seconds to Brew up, so the More Ingredients you need the Longer it'll take for the Potion to Brew. Potions can Be Extended using Redstone Dust, so for Most Potions the Time that the Effect will last will go from 3 minutes to 8 minutes. To Enhance a Potion, just add Glowstone Dust, which will make the Effects Duration go down to 1 Minute 30 seconds. Splash Potions are Made up Adding Gunpowder to the Potions Recipe, and Corrupted Potions which are Potions that do the Opposite of what you're doing can be Made with a Fermented Spider Eye. Lingering Potions used to craft Tipped Arrows will need a Bottle of Dragon's Breath. So the Potions that I'd recommend if you're going to be using Bows and Crossbows are as follows. The Effects will be listed as well. • Potion of Swiftness/Slowness: Nether Wart to make an Awkward Potion, Add Sugar to make it into the Potion of Swiftness, and Add A Fermented Spider Eye to Make it into the Potion of Slowness. Swiftness gives you a Speed Boost and Widens your FOV, while Slowness makes you Slower and Narrows your FOV. • Potion of Healing/Harming: Nether Wart to make an Awkward Potion, Add a Glistering Melon Slice to make a Potion of Healing, Add a Fermented Spider Eye to Make it into the Potion of Harming. Healing Potions will give Instant Health, while Harming Potions will give Instant Damage. When used on Undead Mobs like Zombies, Husks and Skeletons, the Effects are Reversed. • Potion of Regeneration/Poison: Nether Wart to make an Awkward Potion, Gast Tear to make it into the Potion of Regeneration, Add a Fermented Spider Eye to Make it into the Potion of Poison. Regeneration and Poison Potions are Health and Damage over Time, Respectively. Just like with Healing and Harming Potions, The Effects are Reversed when used on Undead Mobs. • Potion of Strength: Nether Wart to make an Awkward Potion, Add Blaze Powder to make it into the Potion of Strength. Potions of Strength will allow you to Deal more Attack Damage. • Potion of Weakness: as simple as Using a Fermented Spider Eye. Weakness Potions make you Deal less Attack Damage. • Potion of Water Breathing: Nether Wart to make an Awkward Potion, And add a Pufferfish to make it into the Potion of Water Breathing. Water Breathing potions allow you to not lose any of your Air Bubbles while Swimming Underwater for the duration of the Potions Effect. • Potion of Night Vision: Nether Wart to make an Awkward Potion, and a Golden Carrot to make it into the Potion of Night Vision. Night Vision Potions allow you to see at night or in Dark Places like the Caves and gives a Light Level 15 effect. To make Tipped Arrows, you can just place the Lingering Potion in the Center of your Crafting Table surrounded by 8 Arrows which then gives you 8 Tipped Arrows. Tipped Arrows are not affected by the Infinite Enchantment on a Bow, so make sure that you've got Plenty Stocked up. Now on to the Mods: • The Dangers in the Darkness Mod. • The John Reborn Mod. • The Yeti. • The Slumbering Omen. • Talhanation's Small Ships Mod. • Talhanation's Recruit Villagers Mod. • Talhanation's Villager Workers Mod. • The Apotheosis Mod. • The Create Mod Series. • The Valkyrien Skies Mods. • Alex's Caves. • The Illage and Spillage Mod. • The It Takes a Pillage Mod. • The Deeper and Darker Mod. • Biomes O' Plenty Mod. The Challenge: You and Several other Players will each Head off in your own Directions at least until you get to the First Village you come across. Once there, You'll start to Build the Foundation for your Nation by Exploring the World and Adding More Village's or even Settling Areas and Building them up from Scratch. Create a Banner that Everyone will eventually associate with your Nation and Place it around in every Village you either Come Across or Build from scratch, but have One with the Name of that Village for a Map of your Entire Nation. You can do this by Right clicking on a Named Banner with a Map in Hand and the Banner Icon will show up with the Name above it. Remember, the Banner Icon will only show the Color of the Banner you Used and none of the Banner Patterns used for your Banner. Once you've got the Foundation for your Nation laid Down, it'll be time to Establish Allies or at least Open Diplomatic Relations with the Other Nations, Establish a Military to Defend your Nation or even Deploy Troops to Help Defend your Allies and Create Trade Routes for Materials that you need in Exchange for Whatever Your Allies need. Talhanation's Mods (Small Ships, Recruit Villagers and Villager Workers) will help with Most of this as you can Place Chests on the Ships, and With the Trader Villagers you can have some sort of Economy going so that you can Fund a Military. However, there's only so much the Chests on the Small Ships can hold, which is where the Create and Valkyrien Skies Mods come in. Build Shipyards to Build Larger an More Powerful Ships to Protect the Trade Routes and to Fight alongside your Allies. This will not be Easy though. The Man From the Fog, The Evolved Cave Dweller, the Yeti, the Slumbering Omen, The John Reborn and the Various Dangers in the Darkness all lurk in the Shadows and come out at night to hunt you down. There are also rumors that the "Otherside" can be accessed by Lighting the Portal in the Ancient City as well. You won't be doing this alone though, be Each Player can Invite some of their Fans and Subscribers (For Content Creators, Friends for those who aren't a Content Creator) every 10 Days, With the Max amount being 1 For Every 1,000 Subscribers, but no less than 1 even if the Player has less than 1,000 Subscribers. For those that aren't Content Creators, They can Invite no more than the Similar amount of People that Started this Challenge. So if 8 People Started this Challenge, and only 4 are Content Creators with about 1,000 Fans and Subscribers Each, the Content Creators each get to invite 1 of their Fans and Subscribers along with them while the 4 that aren't Content Creators will get to invite up to 8 Friends each. You can use the Village Raids to get New Gear and as a Military Exercise for your Troops, as well as Conduct Joint Exercises with your Allies in and Around Their Territory.
