thats not a death wobble. That was target fixation, and understeered off the road. A Death wobble /tank slapper happens at extremely high speeds, and usually happens on a flat road, when the front wheel lifts for a split second due to an accidental wheelie (rider cannot notice the wheelie, the front tyre may barely lift a few millimeters off the ground) and when front tyre lands back on the road, the surface might be uneven or the tyre landed at a weird angle, which gets amplified and turns into a tank slapper or death wobble. This will cause the bike to slow down while wobbling violently and can only be fixed if the weight from the front wheel is reduced by accelerating again ( most people just freeze and hope that it get auto corrected by itself or try to straighten the handle bars - which are both terrible moves) U need to twist the throttle and accelerate. But what ur friend encountered here is very different, glad he is safe though, he controlled the bike really well.
