From Kiphire to Pungro, and then from Pungro to Thanamir, we embarked on an extraordinary journey to Mount Saramati, Nagaland's highest peak, standing tall at 12,500 feet. We trekked for 8 grueling hours to reach the summit and made history by becoming the first individuals to spend 24 hours at the top, setting a new record. The journey was not without its challenges; we walked with tears of pain but ultimately ended with tears of joy upon discovering the mountain's breathtaking flora and fauna, which felt like heaven on earth. During our nighttime stay, from 8 pm to 1 am, we faced harsh conditions with reduced oxygen levels and strong winds. However, through unwavering teamwork, we overcame these obstacles and achieved our goal. Together, we etched our names in history, and this unforgettable experience will forever be a testament to our determination and camaraderie.
