We are trying out our first ever all inclusive resort with the Hilton Playa del carmen all inclusive resort in Mexico. The Hilton Playa del Camen is a clean and relaxing environment and we are soo excited to bring you along and show you the ropes. Playa Del Carmen is the mecca for Mexico all inclusive resorts. Anyone interested in trying out a 5 star all inclusive resort should look at visiting playa del carmen Mexico first. The closes we've come to an All inclusive is our cruise ship vacations. In this video Cruise ships have been great but we are excited to try something new!

We always cruise, for value for money with the whole family, but when my husband and I got to go to Puerto Rico resort last year on our discovery program just the 2 of us was Soo amazing. We never had to leave the resort. When we did we realized everything at the resort was literally amazing, good drinks everything was better than anything we had exploring outside the resort

What I love about the All inclusive experience is that you can explore the country you in and not have to constantly look at yr watch for when u gotta go back to the ship. Overall its just a more relaxing vacation.

We did an all inclusive at secrets maroma riviera beach, Cancun last August. Kinda the same set up with spa, hot tub, ice cold plunge, steam, sauna, we had a hot tub in our room too. It was amazing so amazing we’re going back this August. Good n drinks were also just as good. Enjoy! BUT don’t give up on cruising. I love the option to get off each port. Safe travels !!

The ritual you are referring to where the men lower themselves from the platform above is "The Danza de los Voladores, or Palo Volador, is an ancient Mesoamerican ceremony/ritual still performed today, albeit in modified form, in isolated pockets in Mexico. It is believed to have originated with the Nahua, Huastec and Otomi peoples in central Mexico, and then spread throughout most of Mesoamerica." According to one of the myths, the ritual is performed to ask the gods to end a severe drought. If you get a chance, try an agave tour where they show you how tequila is made. Usually includes tequila tasting. The Mexican dances are also beautiful and varied. I used to go to the Western part of Mexico more often back in the 1980s and 1990s before the proliferation of many resorts. My friends spoke Spanish so we were able to eat at many fabulous local restaurants, very authentic. And since we loved fish, we often got fish caught earlier in the day and cooked whole for us. Cabo San Lucas was a favorite destination. And from there, we would take a local bus north to Todos Santos (All Saints) which was an artist community. The Hotel California there is rumored to be the inspiration of the Eagles' hit song. (Eh, before your time si you may not have heard of it.) In the 1980s and 90s, Club Med was the most popular all inclusives but there were other non-chain resorts that offered a nice week-long getaways for about $20-70/night. Massages were $10-20 for a long hour. Specialty meals at neighboring hotel restaurants were $10. And my friend owned a 2-bedroom timeshare that only cost $130/week. Of course it's older now but back then that was the avg. price. I've been to Playa del Caemen and Cancun, but living in Cali, the Western side of Mexico is more convenient so I prefer trips there.

You should try Le Blanc in Cabo or Cancun. They are adults only and all inclusive. Also, Xcaret Arte in Playa Del Carmen. It is hands down the best all inclusive we have been to! You guys are awesome!!!!

Back in 1986; we went to Cancun on a ship, the NCL, Skyward, it was a tender port, it was a village with two streets, only big hotel names were there, Hyatt, Marriott, etc., we went to the beach and had a great lunch at a local restaurant. We have never heard of ships ever going back. Being a tender port and all the “all inclusive” places, who needs ships! BTW they have beautiful beaches.

You haven’t seen ANYTHING yet! You’re at a basic all inclusive in a touristy part of town. Can’t wait for you guys to start experiencing more resort travel. Don’t be afraid to travel out and explore! Go to Isla Mujeres or Tulum for the day. The daily excursions you can do in that area will make up for the lack of “seeing other countries” You guys rock! Safe travels

I know yall got a a swim up suite… but nothing. And i mean nothing beats the swim up at the Wyndham Alltra in Cancun… it’s literally on the beach!!!!! Even at my favorite at the Hyatt Zivia it’s not on the beach. Being able to watch the sun set from the swim up pool and the waiter bringing ya drinks! Tooooo Amazon! Y’all need to try those places next!
