I think the goals for this one should be healing up your injuries and then finding one of those big radios to "establish contact" with the military. If you still plan on doing the Lost Soldier challenge, I'd save a base raid for that character.

Hm, yes! True. Radio could be cool, although I am not sure how common it is. If we could find it and still be in "short survival" terms, that could be cool. Or just... Collect 100 cigarettes:D

@@SiberianOldPal Every car has a radio and they're not hard to find when looting, depending on your settings ofcourse. Also I think 100 Cigarettes are way too few in that case X) Maybe like 500 or 1000 Cigarettes.

I believe all thumbs is one of the top worst traits to take, you will learn it. And hopefully never pick that again. Equip something? Slow. Move items? Slow. Several traits can be temporary or have a way to deal (like glasses, smoking, etc) but not all thumbs. You take a lot of risks in PZ, shooting, being tired. But always great content!

Hey Rycon, could you do a cdda series where your hyper focused on making a roaming home, like where your vehicle is your base and you focus on upgrading it and making it just perfect? Or have you done this already?

So two notes, as it's hard to determine both and they're both rude surprises: -You got queasy from eating burnt food. This is generally annoying with most characters, but if you have the 'Weak Stomach' trait this can straight up kill you unless you're lucky enough to have the herbs that help with food poisoning. -The tool-tip indicators for moodles occasionally lie or omit things. You were doing far less damage due to being far down the tiredness path, and you'd have similar with fear or general exhaustion as well. Generally speaking, fighting with a bunch of negative moodles is a terrible idea, simply because a fair amount of them will impact combat negatively to have them. But tiredness is by and large one of the worst ones.

There are mods that make the the traits description less obscure. If I remember correctly, and if it's actually true, even the first level of sleepiness reduces your damage in melee combat by *HALF*, while the last level reduces it by 99%.

I wouldn't mind seeing him get setup for self sufficiencey - garden, water source, 2 storey structure. He might try to reach a checkpoint first, he's just unlikely to be pleased with what he finds

Chet's Mission: Re-establish the military base as a refuge for survivors -Get to the military base -Clear the base of undead -Build gates on the exits of the base -Build watercollectors and harvest crops I think this would be awesome because it's an excuse for other characters you make that survive to return to Kentucky if they "escaped". It also gives you an excuse to play on your own to tidy up the military base for the other survivors. I see the potential for a long series of content this way. A later episode could be about Chet scavenging supplies from the cities and acquiring vehicles and such to prepare for the arrival of other survivors, setting up radio comms and fortifying the base and such. The return of Wesley Plummer could be one, they could get together and attempt to clear the prison and take it as a base and Wesley could betray Chet and they become opposing factions. Just braindumping at this point but you get the idea. X) EDIT: Also I love these videos, I enjoy them immensely.

You can extend the rows in your inventory to see the entire name of an item. EDIT: And you can press R to reload and if you only have one magazine your character will fill it will bullets if you have some, unless I'm mistaken. He definitely will fill it with bullets if you emptied the mag.

Tip on gun handling - reloading is much more convenient from radial menu (hold R). And if you need to clear a jam the hot key is X.

East of Louisville. Follow the river bank for some time and you will find an old military fort. Good location to set up military presence.

So to upgrade the shooting skill you need to hit zombies when you shoot them, and buckshot lets you hit more than one zombie at a time which makes shotguns a great way to train

If you chose the rough landing perk from the insurgent mod the wounds you receive are healed as soon as you bandage them (Probably a bug.) so don't depend on that quick healing in the future. 😅

14:37 The first meat patty you ate was burnt. Also, those Lacerations healed WAY too fast. A laceration usually takes days, not hours, to heal. And thats only if they're stitched. (You couldn't stitch them because you had no thread.) Bugged? In any case, that was pretty lucky.
