Use a light bulb ( trouble light) to provide heat under the trailer in certain areas like your kitchen area. In my mind this is safer than a heater.

🤷🏽‍♀️ to solve all the dampness on the window and inside your trailer buy some Dampit from a hardware store or lumber store or even a dollar store sell products that are similar. Put a couple of bucket of Dampit near the bathroom in near the kitchen and in your bedroom. That will solve all your frosted window problems because dampness inside RV trailers like yours become damaged from mold and wood rot.

We do have a dehumidifier, but I have not tried a moisture absorber. Thanks for the suggestion!

How is living for 3 years stationary in a 5th wheel? I would like to ship one to Maui to live in a farm like my wife and dream. Do you see your self living on it for 15 years ?

If it were our pet, I would agree, but it is one of many barn cats in our area, so we simply provide a little shelter and food.

@@TinyHomeHobbies You need to call animal control and report these cats so they can get some help & not suffer another winter. They will take the animals or force the owners to provide care.

Ha ha, I know, right? :) No, we are very involved in our area with family, friends, work, church, etc, so we have no plans of traveling in this thing. The trailer is simply a tool that provides us a cheaper way to live and we are just fine with that!

Yes, absolutely! I think our highest bill in the 3 winters we've been here was around $250, which would have been for a 4 or 5-week period, which is pretty ridiculous for such a small space. It works in our budget, but definitely something to plan for.
