Hello, everyone! 💕
We're already halfway through January; how's everyone's start to 2024 going? I'm not really doing well... (TMI) As soon as January arrived, we got an extreme cold in Calgary! The temperature dropped rapidly, reaching -38°C, with a wind chill making it feel like -45°C 🥶 So, I’m uploading this VLOG to give you a glimpse of the reality of Calgary's winter :) In this cold weather, shovelling the snow took me about 40-50 minutes 😭 And the most inconvenient part is public transportation! Since Calgary's trains run above ground, in this extreme cold, they often stop due to power issues, and there are many times when you have to wait for 30 minutes... Even for drivers, the roads are frozen and cars often slide 🚘 From a distance, it may look like a beautiful winter wonderland, but up close, it's the tragedy of winter... ❄️ For those planning to visit Canada, especially Calgary, please watch this video before coming~
