It's still a nice game, and a great vid. That said, i think there r at least 2 things that needs to change. 1, more ways to get fresh water, 2. wooden boxes with more room for stuff.

I just started this game and so far have died five times within the first two days . LOL Partly from crafting accidental items I don't even need or want to craft . My new person is alive after one day and now from watching yall play vanilla I have a better understanding how to go about this . I now will try to become immortal . LOL

That's the best seed, starter island wise, that i've ever seen. I got one on my first play (console) that was pretty decent as far as the closest islands, but got bit by a snake and for some reason saved after without any sign of an antidote. started a new session and i'm on 12 or 13, mostly playing for a day on home base and one exploring my nearest islands. Ended up finding a container ship with 2 things of bouys, 2 chests with junk and the best hammer. 3 other chests on other islands with little else. decent enough start i guess.

The map is around 20 islands with shipwrecks all over the place. You have oversized animals/bosses you need to fight. Who is your character? Where was he flying? Why are there so many shipwrecks? Where did the animals come from? Why did the plane crash? I'm not saying make it a story driven game. They can do something similar to The Forrest with showing a back story through alot of found objects.

If you like this type of survival game try Subnautica. It’s survival on a water world planet. Where you can build air tanks, water navigation tools, make underwater bases, ect.

Please pick up the pipi plant that is under your crates that you dropped on the ground. You glanced over it a few times and I know how hard it is to come by in the early game. Looking forward to the series. Alot of differences between the console version and steam version but still some great episodes to come I'm sure!

I just started playing this game and I must have gotten the crapiest starter island. Barely any small plants and yucca for rope. I did manage to set up my first base with water and a smoker, but it while challenging, I'm always shocked how much stuff people were getting off their first island. Even rocks and sticks were limited on the ground. ;)

It’s not free for PS4 plus anymore but that’s where I got it and the ending is bad but other than that it’s very exciting. I’m not sure what the fear is called but I have a fear of man made things in the water and it’s a wonderful challenge I face playing this game 😂😅 So I enjoy building since I’ve gotten the hang of it and make tiny shacks and I’m so happy you can build things like that in this game it adds a lot

just started playing this game after seeing 1/3 of your last season tho doing it with a gamepad find it easy to play XD have 2 questions tho 1 i did add a modded island and while playing on it when it says survived x days cannot receive reward for using modded island what rewards do you get normally? might go vanilla to 2 why not use the anchor on the raft they do have one tho they dont work in shallow waters

Looks like a pretty decent game, though it seems your using things to survive that is usually easy to obtain in a survival situation such as the sunken contents from the boat. It's astatically pleasing but they need to fix those sort of glitching shadows. I had the same problem in unity development at first so that tells me this was likely built using the unity engine. The devs wanted to make this a multiplayer game by the look of the reviews on steam, but I don't think it seems necessary (in this type of survival game)as a few of the comments on steam also said. I personally don't like leveling in a survivor game.

I just found your channel in my feed. I started playing SD "early access" when it was using the original game engine. I come back and check it out every 6-9 months or so.
