When chopping trees, there are wood chips on a successful hit. When you don’t see chips, adjust your position at the tree.

Not sure if you remember or not, but the trees can be chopped down faster by circling the tree as you chop into it. Believe me, this works.

It could be but think about it in the new trailer you can wear red paint like the red cannibal did and not get attacked by cannibles and your helicopter crashes in the trailer and in the first game there is a crashed helicopter in the sinkhole

After watching this entire series I was ready to hop in and conquer the forest. Little did I know GE made it look easy. I now understand why GE was in such a hurry to build the alpine tree hut in this episode. Great series, and now that I've played it is a great game. The thing I would say sets this apart from other survival games is the cannibals are a real threat the entire time. You can't just put up chicken fence and poke em like you can do in mist.

it's true that there is a sense of urgency but it's also true that , being this close to the south beach, just using the yacht as the sleep and save point makes the urgency disappear. at least for a few game days till the alpine house is built and then proceed on from there

This game is exactly like Green Hell. Same crafting system book/notebook, forest based, the friendly locals pay you a visit, same log/stick storage crafts, etc .. I could go on all day. I'm still gonna check this game out though. I had a LOT of fun with in Green Hell especially the story mode!

Im commenting this mid way through the vid so if u didnt know you can tame cannibals from tribes by sneaking up on them and holding block then they fall asleep eventually and do whatever you want

if you remember, you'll do better getting feathers with a birdhouse. All campers need a bench to sit on and a drying rack for that extra meat :D Good luck!

You need a drying rack to store more food. You are right near the easy way to get the modern axe it’s behind the village by the lake. Go in the cave make a right stay right down first rope. If you have never played this in VR you really need to try it out.

4:44 No, don't grab all of them. You can carry only 5 meds and those suitcases don't respawn. Once you loot them all and drop the meds - meds are gone. Don't place more than one meat in the fire. And make a drying rack. 27:44 Press "R" on the ghost image of the rock/stick/log holders to icrease their size.
