Love the vid. ALWAYS cut ht branch while it's attached to the tree, that way the tree acts as a natural vise. If you cut the branch off, as you did, you need to find a vise.

I would tuck the sides of the tarp to block the wind and make it a bit warmer for you.

Speaking of Paracord, that brings back memories of me jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft in the middle of a super dark night and dangling from my parachute's canopy and the only thing that was keeping me up there was the Paracord between me and the canopy eas Paracord.

Hello, I have just started watching your videos. I discovered you by watching your brother. It kinda seems like he has been at this longer than you have. Give it a bit more time and you will achieve greatness in all that you do. Being in pouring rain like that, for me, seems very uncomfortable. I mean, it sounds pretty, but I don't like being soaking wet. So kudos to you for staying overnight. I am really sorry that you hurt your hand. I hope it heals well with no infection. First, never ever trust a tree. Second, never ever make camp under a leaning tree. Use cut logs or limbs for tarp supports.

Wounder any of these youtubers ever spend time in Army(combat arms)? I am 19D Cav Scout, 13years. Went to Ft.knox for basic and AIT. My first field training happended in January 1983. Rain, snow mix, wet from sweat from marching all day long in rain, and snow mix, THE WORST KIND. I used to liked camping, hunting but after that basic, and AIT, I never liked to camp again.
