I feel, The Anomaly, is one of the first actually good mods. The threat is present and obvious, but also fair, it gives you time before it goes all apeshit, and when it does, it makes it''s appearance known as he enrages, and gives you a few second headstart while he transforms. He's also not overly OP, he isnt the man from the fog levels of bad, breaking down most blocks, and being hella fast, and doesn't have the absurd spawnrate of a goatman. I'd say he is one of the few well balanced, but creepy mods

I took a break and started watching. I thought the entity was going to constantly be in that "elongated" state, so when i saw it in its "normal" form, i thought that was an entirely different entity. So then this part of the video rolls around. And bro...everything about this part is just wrong. The silence once he got to the top of the ladder and looked at it, and SOMETHING about that double take it did when it realized he was looking at it. And the way its eyes looked, actually made me scream out loud. Because i was genuinely caught off guard. Then, it elongated. And the mototon blur didnt make it any better. I promise you, seeing that with entirely no context leading up to it and me thinking there were two entities only to realize as it elongated "holy shit, thats the same entity." Was one of the only moments i can confidently say i was scared shitless by a minecraft video. That was...fucked up.💀
