I always felt public lobbies at Monza in any sim develop your awareness skills better than any track. Constantly looking ahead and the mirror and identifying the other drivers habits and learning to avoid consistently.

Monza exposes peoples misunderstanding where they think they can brake at their same marker whilst behind someone - You can't do it ever, but with such heavy braking zones it's something that's shown even more

It's difficult for beginners and intermediates because even if you know you have to brake earlier, you don't know how early; if you brake too early, someone will crash you. Plus, there's a concertina effect and you have to brake even earlier if you have many cars in front.

The awareness and patience to let that Ferrrari driver go at Ascari was awesome. You totally had right to that space, but that would have been a massive accident if you had held your line. Definitely working on that level of calmness and patience still.

Hi Jardier! I have a long winded comment/question today ... Do Leagues or small groups of friends usurp Live Lobbies by voting to kick one out in 30 seconds after joining while I'm picking a setup? My racing background is important to know so you don't say "I pissed someone off" ...lol. I'm 64 years old & love this retirement hobby. I've spent a small fortune on my "Rig & equipment & I'm in it for pleasure. So ...I'm a patient clean racer ...I never block faster drivers. That is like a "tripping penalty" in hockey ...if your faster I move over. My few words in chat is explaining that I apply the "slow in & fast out" turning method & good drivers will pass me as I do try to leave room. I get punted & rammed with a last place restart & never retaliate. Anger kills the fun this hobby provides & makes little sense ...& I too make mistakes & make contact once in a while. I always apologize in Chat. I'm also not too bad at it for an Old Fart ...I'll be a full 5 seconds off the leader in Qualifying but patient disciplined driving almost always nets me 5th or better. I sound like I'm "too good to be true" ...but this is how I race. So I doubt I offended anyone THAT bad in a previous race! Last night I joined a live lobby with 9 racers ...GT2 @ the Spa & was kicked out while doing a setup. I rejoined & got less than a lap in & kicked. I rejoined & placed 2nd during practice & was kicked. I rejoined & actually got Qualifying completed poling 2nd. ...got kicked! I rejoined & somehow STILL held 2 pole position & we started the race ...I took 1st after turn 1 & was kicked out while on Kemmel Straight. I know none of these racers & doubt I've ever offended any of them because I'm an older ...patient & clean racer. I don't use Mods or DLC cars nor am I a member of any racing League/Discord. So what is the policy here? Why did this occur?

To be honest, it depends on the lobby. Most of the time it's actually fine and racing is good. Occasional person crashing, but it's probably people still learning and don't know much yet. Then there's lobbies with higher safety rating and such, and that helps too.

I'm new to Assetto Corsa and so far Monza is my most favorite map for me, my best time i got so far is 1:36 - 1:37, I used an Aston Martin Valkyrie then i also used a Bentley Continental GT3 but couldn't beat my best time so I only got 1:49 - 1:51

Monza is always fun in public server but on SA 70+ ,avoid Monza on lower SA. (Edit) ACC doesn't have slow down penalty for cutting course which is a shame.

Tell me this is fake! I have never ever seen such good T1 in any crowded public race. The later, though... the blue Lambo Iceman idiot is exactly the reason why I avoid public Monza at all costs. We had a league race - single make Lambo Super Trofeo and that car has no centre rearview mirror and side mirrors are absolutely unusable (VR so no virtual mirror). I needed to practice with full grid but this car is even worse that pre-patch 720s when it comes to avoidance: you just have no chance to see the bomb coming. I practiced with AI on Monza instead of public lobby frustration :D.
