no matter how much damage you do, the PH will only reach the next damage threshold for the next phase. So no point on doing multiple instant damage, because phases will never be skipped

10 C4 did almost nothing to it. The Fueling The Plague Heart added extra defense for the BH against both fire and explosives.. learnt the hard way lol

@joeymanson incorrect, what happens is they can only take damage from things like explosives once per a few ticks, so blowing up 2 c4 at once does the same damage as 1, however if you do enough damage to it to clear 2 phases before it erupts, that's two phases done.

@@FrankTastic a black plague heart is roughly 8 times tougher unless you use their weakness, so ordinarily it'd take I think 16 c4 to kill it, around 5 or 6 if it's weak to explosive, more if it's somehow resistant

@@sinisterplank3113 It was overlapped by the Fueling Plague Heart, which added resistant to both fire + explosive to any Plague Hearts in it's radius.. which was the black heart :(

@@sinisterplank3113 So it might have actually taken maybe 20+ C4 for 1 phase? Idk but 10 C4 didn't even do a single phase, but it was weak to melee thank god lol

My last run i had as many as four black hearts to deal with. It was brutal.

Jesus! I think I've only had 2 black hearts total through a single community playthrough. It be even worse if more than 1 was spawned on top of each other OR across the entire map!

@@FrankTastic honestly can't think of anything worse than black heart and fueling the plague overlapping. Fast, smart, keen eyed zombies that explode? No thank you

if u trew the exploding zombies into the heart, they do alot of damage. a normal heart just needs 1 of those zombies to explode near it

That's actually FALSE. The "Fueling the Plague" heart actually added resistant to both Fire + Explosives to any heart within it's radius, including the Black Heart. Meaning fire and blowing it up would actually be weaker. It was ONLY weak to melee attacks.

i loaded up the game yesterday after watching some of your journey, and learnt some tricks from you. But i am a newb, so not lethal.. and I am on xbox. Cant figure out how to push zombies like i see you do all the time.. can anyone tell me how?

Do you mean, the grab and throw? Just grab a zombie from behind and push them, I play on keyboard + mouse and have my binds custom so you may have to look at your button binding in the settings.
