Surviving Sub-Zero Temperatures - Solo Winter Bushcraft

On this winter solo wild camp out I survived sub zero temperatures by using the hot tent and employing a bit of bushcraft skills. The temps were about -4c outside and although the fire warmed me up it really dropped through the night when that fire went out. The tent used was the Onetigris Gastropod. I cooked up a cawl which was too much for one person but delicious.

I have the northgaze TC green and the same stove Been using a camp cot and fastening my thermarest to the cot with two straps somit doesn't move Total luxury absolutely over the moon with it all

Cool, I don't think I have watched one for ages, not sure why? Anyway, very enjoyable watch. Looked a great spot and perfect pitch for the size iof that not so hot tent. Was in the Black mountains a few days ago and over towards Crai about 1o days ago -n loads of felling going on. I was visiting a menhir and its now cleared of conifers. Any chace you might lose that spot, shame if so. atb Alan

I've lost two spots to the felling. One is still campable with lots of new firewood but not the same atmosphere. I haven't checked the other one yet

I did skin it 👍 I brought a meths stoves as backup but all the fuel went on starting the fire 😂
