I always find rich when we are so concerned about the immigrants, who have brought the cost of housing way up, rather than the people who have been here for generations and have had to see their country change in this way, and have no other country to go to.

Oh, no. It’s not dead. Keep in mind, this is coming from a 40-year-old who decided to pursue his undergrad online to secure a decent living wage. I can’t take anyone seriously who complains too much about the cost of living without acknowledging irrational lifestyle choices, especially when they compare themselves to those with much higher purchasing power. Cooking one's own meals and living within one's means until purchasing power improves is both essential and reasonable. Canada remains a land of lucrative opportunities, and I’ve seen impoverished South Asians rise economically after several years of hard work. So yes, those who work on themselves professionally reap the rewards at any age in this beautiful country, and there’s no good reason to spread pessimism. As of this year’s ranking, Canada is #4 among the best countries to immigrate to. It offers many keys to prosperity and safety, both economically and psychologically. Having lived around the world, I can’t think of a better place.
