In case anyone is wondering, this final series of Gadget Man was shown in 2015. The ‘sci fi film’ they were talking about was The Force Awakens and the guy made and operated BB8. I can’t see that Mantis having any use ever though. 1 mph and 2 gallons of fuel for each of those miles? No thanks!

Lol 1 mph fuel guzzling mecha spider is so cool but so unpractical. Love it. Yeah a water collecting or reclaimation system, self defense tools, or a self sustaining underground veggie garden would probably be more useful. But... robo spider! XD

So to recap, we had what was bassiclaly a folder that you can wear as a hat, a blow up bed, a onesie/sleeping bag. A very expensive tourch, gps tracker and something that you can neither buy nor would be very useful in an apocalypse that being the big slow ass spider....nice

Anyone else thinking....i've watched WW2 footage that shows everybody with a gas mask, even kids going to school had one, yet now - after this was filmed we are in a situation where it's up to you if you wear a mask, where is the leadership now?? Attitude reflects leadership....how are we meant to act responsibly when those in charge don't and prosper from it??

It said in the vid it gets 0.5 miles per gallon. Very cool looking machine. Worse than useless in a survival situation/ any situation.
