I was in this earthquake! Standing in line in the cafeteria at Dominican College in San Rafael. I've always enjoyed earthquakes and thought it was fun, then I got back to my room and saw the news about the damage across the Bay Area. That sobered me up rather quickly. For years I was afraid to drive over any of the bridges.

With the I-880 bridge/viaduct pancaking, WA & Seattle DOT thought it'd be prudent to take down the Alaskan Way Viaduct along Seattle's waterfront. Took years, but it was finally completed.

One of the worst audio documentaries I've ever tried to watch. The narrator could barely be heard, or understood, between the music, sounds of events, etc. I am sure it was interesting but who knows. I do know that Tim Peterson wasn't the only victim to survive the collapse of the Cyprus Highway. One child lost a leg to be freed. One victim lived for almost a month before dying from his injuries. I am surprised at the almost total disregard for the Marina area. Very disappointed
