I can't imagine how this lady survived a ghetto, camp after camp after camp... only to be 'liberated' and stuck in a Russian camp. Amazing! She married a very important man, too- the US Holocaust Memorial Museum has Ben's interview and an earlier one of Ann (Hannah). The captions actually do a good job of keeping up and spelling- nice. TY Sho' ah.

My grandmother’s entire family, who lived in Jonava, near Kovno, was murdered at the Ninth Fort massacres. My grandparents left Lithuania and came to England in the mid-1930s. I don’t know how or why they fled. Old people, children, little babies. None-of this mattered: They murdered all.

Always nice to hear a survivor’s story……I’m sure this interviewer did not realize how bad she sounded and how it really sounded very rude….interrupting this speaker’s story…….I’m sure it is very hard to tell such a real scary and sad story……May God Bless……….😔👵🏼🙏🏾✌🏾❄️

The interviewer is also a Holocaust survivor and she's really one of the best interviewers. Renee Firestone's(the interviewer) testimony: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3TNlWaijtp9p5o&feature=share8

Suggestion, please make the sound louder, it's very difficult to hear, the accents make it challenging to understand , we really need these louder

The testimony is heartbreaking, but she survived a very hard experience. The interviewer may mean well, but she should have considered the health of everyone else before spreading whatever cold/sickness she has and let another interviewer who is well conduct the interviewer. The constant nose blowing and coughing should have told her she shouldn’t be working, but need to be home isolating herself🙁. Not to mention how disrespectful it is to such a wonderful person (who has gone through an unprecedented amount of disrespect in her life) is taking the time and energy to dig up painful memories and wounds to share her historic testimony.

I t would be nice if we didn't have to hear the interviewer coughing and blowing her nose into the microphone!!!!! Get someone healthy to interview Ann --- she is having to talk over the interviewer's coughs and snorts. Correct this in future interviews out of respect for these survivers!!!

That person blowing their nose and making all those offensive sounds is ridiculous and so annoying. I know these people are not professionals and I give them that but that person either should not have been present or at least unmiced. Geesh! And it's rude to Ann.
