The odds of jacob opening the vault, assuming the last guess is not a 50/50 and that DK can throw you to any of the 83 spaces on the board, is approximately 1,1%

In case anyone is doubtful about the math, the way i did it was by multiplying the odds of bowser rolling that 1/10 with the probability of DK placing Pauline at any of the 20/83 spaces that could get her to the vault. Since the farther away someone is from the vault, the luckier they need to get on the dice roll, different spaces have different odds to get to the vault, so the final equation ended up looking like: (1/10)*(((1/83)*(10/10))+((1/83)*(9/10))+((1/83)*(8/10))+((1/83)*(7/10))+((2/83)*(6/10))+((3/83)*(5/10))+((3/83)*(4/10))+((3/83)*(3/10))+((3/83)*(2/10))+((3/83)*(1/10))) = 91/8300 = 0.0109638554217 or 1,09638554217%

​@terakonide I realized that Alpharad was guaranteed to get the Vault at the end because of the Jamboree Buddy so it really was the Dice Roll that determined it at the end...that being said Alpharad needed DK, the right space placement AND a long roll is what he needed.

@guiga8412 I only count 15 spaces that can reach the vault. Did you count both ways on the loop, because I did at first and got 20 before I started adding up the odds and realized my mistake. Final odds I got are 0.9%(3/3320 to be exact).

@@terakonide The 1.096% is already the odds of bowser rolling the 1 followed by getting to vault with donkey kong. The 1/10 at the start of guiga's equation is Dillon rolling the 1. The odds of reaching the vault after a random teleport is about 9% Dillon's odds of winning was 99.096%. Assuming the vault is predetermined. It could be programmed to just roll invisible dice to decide if the selected numbers are correct.(someone has probably checked by resetting turns and seeing if it's still the same code)

I’d like to point out that Luigi’s ability goes insanely hard with double/triple dice. I haven’t seen it happen in their games, but, in my own game, Luigi turned my last triple dice roll into a 10, and it turned ALL of my dice rolls into a 10. So I rolled a 30, AND I earned the coin bonus, which is absolutely insane. Using double or triple dice with him is unironically one of the most busted mechanics in the game

this match is incredible, and im amazed that despite landing on bowser spaces 12 times and having the 9-star vault sniped from him and rolling 80-90 spaces less than everyone else, dylan still got second place... that's mario party for you! (also when he kept landing on bowser spaces i really wanted him to say something about being bowser and intentionally landing on the bowser spaces bc theyre his spaces)

Fun maths I just did out of curiosity: if you need to roll at least N (such as to get to the star, pass a shop, escape the Loop...), the mushroom is better if it's 8 or less, while the double dice is better above 8 (and at exactly 8, the probability of rolling at least 8 only differs by 1% (with the mushroom having the edge)).
