When i first got out of my abusive relationship from 15-23 years old (2009-2017) I used to think I saw him everywhere. I would hear his voice when I was alone or falling asleep. It's nothing like the game but I have chunks of memories from my teens just gaps of forgotten time. I don't remember much from it just pieces of situations or events

I used to work with people living with schizophrenia at one point. One patient used would say someone was after him, always around dinner time. He'd yell at them and tell them to feck off. It used to annoy me that other carers in the facility would say to him that there's nothing there. It would aggravate him and makes things worse. Imagine seeing that all the time and have someone tell you it doesn't exist. I did the opposite and joined in, telling the invisible character to feck off too. The guy would tell me the character was gone and he'd calm down. I'd sit with him afterwards while he had a ciggy and we would b*tch about this character. Then he was fine. The brain is weird.

As someone who also hears things, I prefer someone to be understanding, not condescending.... I may realize later or even understand at the moment no one is there but I still think there is and the LAST thing I need is for someone to be pointing out the obvious, making me feel psycho....ya know? Your a good person for doing those things- thank you (from any of us whom experience your kindness or the same kind in someone else)

My bf has skitz his isn't constant it's more stressed or high emotion induced episodes he knows they arnt real but cause him to panic depending and he's had episodes where he sees doubles of me ive learned if I grab his hand and show him im real it helps and he will have me grab the spots if he feels something touch him somewhere I also get him to focus on me till the hallucinations pass it was super bad when we first got together cause the high emotions building in the beginning of the relationship and he had alot of stress going on he'd constantly trigger but he's been doing alot better lately

My sister went through psychosis, which was brought on through trauma and health issues. She moved back home after leaving her abusive husband, and she would hear and see things, including thinking that the house and cars were bugged. She thought people were after her, like her ex-husband. And she thought that people close to her were plotting against her. Our dad didn't believe her, which would piss me off because she needed help and he would only make it worse. Our father isn't exactly the greatest person, but that's a whole other long story. I told her to tell me any time she would hear or see something and I would check and make sure it wasn't there to reassure her that it wasn't real. She said it helped her a lot. She ended up getting the help she needed, and recovered from it. It was so scary to see her go through all of that.

Hey Fisk i just want to let you know that the start of this game with the therapist is a good resemblance of having ptsd. Its hard and difficult to separate the reality. I had C-PTSD, i overcame it but it is a painfull recovery trough your whole trauma bit by bit. Keep going with your content it is good.❤

The Scottish Fold… while I’ll admit they do look adorable, the reason they are banned in a lot of places (and breeding discouraged in others) is because of their health issues. They have a condition causing bone and cartilage abnormalities - it leads to the cute folded ears, but also very painful degenerative bone conditions. Many are also found to develop kidney disease. There are certain cat and dog breeds that ideally shouldn’t be purchased due to the health conditions linked to their breed, and this is one. Rescuing is one thing, but preferably don’t support the breeding of these animals 😢

I love escape rooms. Done a few as well. The most intense experience I had has been at the beginning of November where my friend and I went to Rammstein, Germany and did an Escape in a Bunker. It has been adapted after the movie Wrong Turn and it last 6 hours. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

This game reminds me more than probably any other of my DID. The voices were particularly accurate, as were a few other things, but I won't go into all that. I'll just get to the way the story looks from my perspective: The MC was definitely the killer (but not the part of his consciousness, or "alter" that you were playing as). There isn't much backstory that's made clear in what we got to see from your play through, but I'd guess David sustained some serious trauma from things his mother exposed him to as a child. (Super creepy coincidence that my own trauma came from my father, also named David 😅). Anyway, I'd guess that there are multiple ending based on what order you put those blocks in at the end. I assume if you'd put them in spelling "hero" you'd have gotten the "good" ending, where you find out what really happened and get your mental health somewhat under control. I also assume there's another version, triggered by another combination of the blocks that leads to David snapping completely and killing his therapist. Just my guesses though. I haven't played the game or Googled anything about it; I haven't watched any other videos and don't intend to. I hope to eventually be able to play it myself and find out. This one was a particularly creepy, but very amusing ride lol, especially seeing Von Scoliosis on the wall 🤣 Can't wait for the next one! Loved the latest Backrooms video with Fooster as well, btw, listening to you guys making the most of the frustration was pretty hilarious. Thanks for doing what you do, it really helps me with my bad days.
