I was so impressed with that river by Futaleufu. It was so powerful, thunderous and roaring, with crystal clear water. Prettiest river I have ever seen! I hope to see it again.

It is not only one of the prettiest, but has some of the best whitewater in the world! We've rafted it twice now... 1st in 2019, and now again in 2023... If you go back, you've got to run it!! 💪

Phew! when I saw your title I thought you got caught up in white water while on the bike. Looked like you had heaps of fun. WooHoo! You guys have had some issues with border crossings. Really enjoying your travels. Ride well. Cheers

Nope... the bike was safe and sound back on dry land! But stay tuned, I'm sure it'll end up getting wet sooner or later... 😁

Love this video. That river is almost identical to the Rangitata River here in NZ (Grade 5) We capsized in the rapids last time. (raft twisted like an hour glass.... and then sprung back!! ) 😱😱

The Futa is absolutely incredible. I did a bit of a rafting on the South Island in 2005, but cannot recall the name of the river... 🤔

What is the deal with Chile not wanting you to go into Northern Chile?

It's been an ongoing bureaucratic drama that has played out over the last few months (and videos). Long story short, our residency expired and they will not allow non-residents to take a duty-free bike out of the region...

hello, thank you so much for your releases, they are very inspiring. I'm going on a trip around the world and I want to buy a motorcycle. Most of the time I will travel with a passenger. Advise. Is it worth paying two thousand euros more for a Honda Africa Twin 1100 Adventure or a BMW GS 850 Adventure. When traveling the world frequently, a motorcycle range of more than 500 km is very important, or can you get by with a smaller tank? Thanks a lot. I will be glad to meet you in Lugano, Switzerland.

Awesome, thank you for coming along for the ride!! There aren't many Adventure bikes that get that sort of range... my Africa twin gets a max range of about 300 km, which is never been a problem for us... I carry 4 liters in a Rotopax for emergencies, and on a few occasions, I have had to pack extra gas in a fuel bladder, but only in the remote reaches of Tierra del Fuego, and in the Atacama desert.... I think it really will depend on where you intend on riding. There are plenty of spots in africa, Australia, and Asia where fuel stations are very few and far between. Latin America, not so much...
