Found your channel as I’m triple positive with invasive ductal carcinoma. You are such an inspiration! I’m getting ready to start chemo next week and really scared of the unknown so watching your story really helps. Thank you for sharing! Also I really like the wig you have on in this video. You look beautiful! Do you mind me asking if you got it locally or if possibly it could be ordered online? I wish you the best fighting this awful battle. Praying for you and your family

@@jenniferpaul3735 I’m so glad you found my channel helpful!! I totally understand where you are right now…it’s a scary time but just know, you can do hard things!! I am sending all the prayers to you!🩷🙏🏻 I believe my wig is from wigs.com and the brand is Jon Renau. I have a few but have stopped wearing them as my hair is growing back and the summer got REALLY hot! 🤦🏼♀️

I am so sorry that the chemo is so difficult for you. I cannot imagine trying to deal with everything this time of the year with your children. I will keep you in my prayers. Think positive. You are stronger than you think…. 💕🙏💕

Hi Rebecca, I’m currently on chemo for breast cancer too. I completed those four heavy duty “red devil” infusions ( Adriamycin) last month and today I had round 7 of 12 of weekly Paclitaxel (aka Taxol). You’re right, chemo sucks big time. Thankfully I didn’t get nausea but I am experiencing the rest plus the horrific taste problems. For me, it wasn’t that I couldn’t taste the food. Was more that the foods I tried to eat became tainted with what I thought were the chemicals (chemo) leeching out of my body, especially via the tongue. My taste buds were buried and most all food I ate took on the most disgusting taste! You know. Even water was hard to drink. I’ve lost 25 lbs so far. The way I’ve gotten around this somewhat is by eating sharply flavored food. “Suckerpunch” (name brand) pickles, black pepper, sharp cheeses, pineapple, garlic. There’s probably more. I’m still experimenting. What I found when eating these strong flavored foods was that their sharp flavors could override the horrid chemical taste on my tongue allowing me to taste again! Hallelujah! Hope this helps. Stay strong my friend. Love and prayers. ❤

I had the same issue. Finished chemo two and half weeks ago. Lost 40 lbs and still my taste is messed up. Still struggling to drink. Feeling my strength starting to come back.

You need to stop at chemo immediately. If so poisonous you’ll never get over it for the rest of your life if you make it.
