Great video. I understand where you went with this video. There are a couple of things I noticed that I may have changed or have done differently. In the grand scheme of things, it boils down to knowledge and experience. Thanks for sharing. ✌️👍

Nobody is waiting til day 4 to build a fire. That’s a day 1 task along with building a basic shelter. Day 2 is set snares/procure food & improve the shelter (which you should be doing every day, along with gathering firewood & melting snow for water). The more comfortable the shelter, the better you will sleep, which will help your energy levels. Setting lots of snares is important, as a nice hot meal will also help you sleep better and help keep your mind focused on the task at hand. Don’t waste too much energy though unless food is abundant.

Remember the wood is wet, and shelter with some candles would stay warm. I just finished 18 nights off grid, I waited 6 nights before a fire. Reason was to make sure nothing was around me and it was a full moon Rising era. Could see everything so a fire was senseless

The teachings on the Internet and from your channel here are fantastic. An absolute THANK YOU! But practice all of these while you are still in a safe situation and aren't dependent upon them. They work - but we need to practice those skills. They are not as easy in practice as in theory. And yet: Having the theory is better than having nothing.

Day 4 for fire? Ok. Shelter? Why didn’t you bring along a tarp or tent, avoiding all the time and dither of a stick shelter? And depending on condensation to get water?
