The laughing baby isn’t a baby. It’s from a mod called Eyes in the Darkness which adds these floating eyes that are visible in the dark and invisible in the light. The eyes make the laughing baby noises and if you turn your back to them they will sneak up on you and jump scare you. However, if you look directly at the eyes or walk into them, they will disappear. They don’t damage you they just scare you.
