To be specific I was talking about the progression and unlocks system. I think it’s very easy to understand and makes you want to keep grinding for those juicy upgrades. It’s not everyone’s thing but I like it 🙂

What is actually "ALIEN" in this game? The alien planet looks just like the Rockies :D

An oxygen based - life supporting planet that has been terraformed to be mostly like Earth does end up looking like Earth. I think there will be "alien" enemies later down the road and in the more difficult areas. This is one of the biomes.

Been playing this all weekend. Really love it. I started a massive forest fire and have also died to a bear. Edit: Some tips. 1.)On your Inventory screen there's a box next to your character gear. You can place Oxcite in there and it will consume over time. 2% Oxygen per oxcite 2.) The pick is better than the other items for getting bone 3.)Headshots. Headshots. Headshots. Crouching with a stealth bonus is also extremely helpful for those 1 shot stealth kills and sick animation.

To answer Fisk's question about the animals and what they're breathing - they're genetically modified from the terraforming to breath the "air" that's on that planet, but you cannot, hence why you always have your helmet on and need to constantly mine the oxite.

In fostering we always say that "goodbye is the goal" but it's never easy, especially with the neonate bottle babies and sometimes there's that one feral furball that's just...special, like little Sherbie. I've been following this game for months and am really glad you made a video on it. I think there's a ton of potential, especially with the developers being who they are. Man, it is kinda ridiculous that they don't just come down with some tools, and then have to rely on makeshift stronk stone tools that somehow can go through other stones like tofu. Apparently binding stone to a stick gives it +500% durability and hardness! Magical :)

The oxygen thing puts me off. There is definitely O2 in the atmo if fire can burn. Not to mention the other evidence of Oxygen such as water, the clouds that rain H2O. Blood is red on the bones of animals after skinning which blood is red due to carrying O2. I couldn't find any info on why you have to wear a helmet. Hopefully they have a reason like the atmo has oxygen but there are other gasses in the atmo that is toxic that the animals have adapted to. Hope they explain why an alien world has raccoons, deer, wolves and bear. Some plant life looks alien but you have corn. Game looks great but the small details make it believable. I would also think that if the O2 is low in the atmo that the animals would adapt by having larger lungs. So bears, deer and others should have broader chests for the larger lung adaptation. Looking good for a beta, would be nice to have more info about the planet and why things are they way they are.
