My kid is so bummed, Yul was his pick and this is his first season watching Survivor, I had to explain to him that people want to get rid of Yul because he would win against almost anyone if he made it to the final.

I think personally CBS is leaving out a lot more than they’re showing. They want make the episodes as entertaining as possible. You guys are right, there really isn’t a reason that Yul should have went for Wendell besides the reason he almost sold his vote. They didn’t really elaborate on it. I think Wendell and Michelle are a lot closer than the show wants to show, and they are making the edit look different for story arc purposes. I think Michelle and Wendell were going to vote together no matter what, and they picked Yul bc he showed his doubts in Wendell more than Nick did, and it much more of a threat. I think this vote is much less of Yuls vote as the episode shows, but they want to create this story arc between Michelle and Wendell.

Sophie will win im calling it even though she hasn't done anything major you could see ( before Yul got out ) how they were getting numbers on there side she has the idol and the whole tribes trust but it's irritating when all the legend's get voted out and then you are left with not as good players like Kim. Tony will forever be a threat, Ben is also very likely to win and Wendell is to cocky and can't wait until he gets out oh and I can't wait for Rob to come back in the game😀😀😀

I almost think wendle and michele are still together and everything is fake about that. I think they are playing the best game of "we're enemies we wont work together long run" and they're just playing it up even for the camera. They will always be on separate sides of the vote and then always work together behind the scenes.

I believe Nick had a pre-game alliance with Wendell and Michelle BEFORE Him, Yul and Michelle. Notice Nick says this was his *F4* Which makes me think that N/M/W had a F3 before this. Yul didn't know about it until it was too late.

I think that the pattern of elimination of the season has been more about the level of threat in relationships, the baggage, and the Old School have a lot more of that, that's why Yul was able to last longer, he played for one season and after that didn't keep in touch with a lot of this people so he wan't perceived as dangerous.

My god let's be honest this is very rapidly becoming an average season. The whole point of this season was that it was supposed to combine many of the greatest players of all time (Rob, Parv, Sandra, Yul) as well as some old-school favourites (Ethan, Amber). AND THEY'RE ALL GONE PRE-MERGE. It's now just become another regular season of modern Survivor. Still good but disappointing, and I bet not how the producers were hoping this season would go.

this isn't going to be popular to say but the "Old Schoolers" most were voted out because ITS the game and some of them were making bad game play. Boston Rob was DOING good in his group and he had the numbers when he was voted out and would still be in the game if he hadn't made a dumb ass move and started to round his team mates up and coral them around the camp and forbid them to leave. That isn't an "Old school" game play that is a Rob game play that worked on very simple (add a few more simples here) players in his season he won. WInners at War?!?! All Winners! He should have known better. Sandra was in an alliance who had the majority of the votes ALSO.. she vocally under estimated all newer players and arrogantly knowing she had the majority of people (everyone but Denise) on her side she gave Denise her idol for tokens? HELLO This is WINNERS at war. Denise is a WINNER. :o Parvati she was doing great and honestly why didn't she barter her advantage to help get her ahead? She didn't seem to be in the game playing. So what they changed up the game? So they always do that now, there is always twists and turns. Michelle was in same situation and is still there and she had less to work with. The rest were voted out because it weakened their alliances. THat's not old vs new school, that's Survivor game play. ALso, to me, the "Old schoolers" have so much more advantage over the new schoolers. They are popular with the show, popular with the audience, one has his wife there, two have idol statues, and they have played a zillion times... not once not twice but most of them at LEAST 3 times. So what they are voted out. As people who have played so many times and are such experts. They should have played better. Never under estimate the new players. They won when it was hard to just pick people off one by one with the constant shifting in the games and they won their FIRST time playing.

I also found this episode very boring. Most of the episode felt was focusing on edge... and Boston Rob bamboozling his edge people out of tokens. Woop..........pee..... Boston Rob outwitted the same people he has out witted in his prior seasons. Shocker............ I honestly feel so disconnected to the actual game play because so much attention is on "the favourites" on the edge. I don't even get to see Natalie anymore now that Boston Rob is on the edge. Get back to what the show is about and lets watch some Survivor. I LOVED last episode and Denise single handed voting out Sandra. Now that is Survivor I like to watch. Not because Queen Sandra was voted out but how fun and clever it was to watch one clearly on the outs player out wit another play to out play them with their own idol. Reminds me of when Parvati and the black widow alliance outwitted Erik. Classic Survivor playing! Loved it

Michele, Nick, and Yul had a pregame alliance. Nick admitted as much in a pregame interview. Add that to the fact that Wendell is being a disruptive asshole openly advertising his willingness to betray others, causing disorder and mistrust within his ranks, and it makes perfect sense for Yul to want him gone in favor of nice, even-keeled Michele.

Rob is there any reason why you keep dancing around this "connection" between Wendell, Michelle and Nick, that made you feel like you missed an episode...it's clearly a pre-game alliance. When Nick says this was his final 4 after barely knowing Michelle in game days its clear. Nick and Wendell had a pre-game alliance, and Michelle and Wendell had the same. ***Also, I'm not totally pumped it worked out this way: Nick and Wendell were 2 of my former winner picks and Yul is my favorite player. I've become very thankful for Edge after how all the vote outs have gone. All I want is Adam out, at this point they'll carry him to a no vote finalist.

I have to agree with Fischbach’s viewpoint on the bad moves made by the winners especially with the pair scenario. Say for example, Danni, she had Stephanie/Rafe during her season and Bobby Jon pre merge. But with the game right now, she has no one and it turned her kookoo. Nevertheless, I still love her gameplay on Guatemala. Such an underrated season.

I know I am late to this but Wendall's game got thrown off by the addition to Michelle. . He was playing a lot more arrogantly once she came on his tribe. Yul did not like the way Wendall treated Michelle. He also blew it the week before with keeping open with Parviti so lost the trust with Wendall.

In the preview where Jeff says "everyone drop your buffs", you can see that the props/obstacles used in the challenge are clearly meant for individual competitors. The winner from Edge will join the merge

michelle and wendell played up their differences from the beginning, that's why w looks so unnnatural and in contrast with his natural demenour. I think the start was only to put the target off, but later it was concious decision for tv and gameplay, Yul just bought it, hr didn't have a chance....

Andrew G no not at all, my favorites are still in the game. the dynamics of the show are just way different! What Russell brought to HVV was TV magic! Not to mention many players on that season were at their peak performance! Winners at war is watching all the favorites past their prime...a bit disappointing.

As fun as Tony and Tyson are I need more than just them to carry the show for me. I may turn out to love W@W but I just feel it won't top my top 2 favorite seasons. I will hope the rest of the season will at least stay on pace and maybe surprise me now that they're at the merge.

I think we all know the producers engineer the game to an extent to keep the most entertaining players in it. They really butchered this season, the 4 most entertaining characters were voted out back to back - Tyson, Rob, Parv and Sandra. I'd rather see Rosie O'Donnel in a thong than watch boring players like Denise, Kim and what's her name under the radar.

LegendOfSparx I don't think she said any particular player's strategy was dumb, but was more echoing Russel Hantz's observation that the structure of the game causes the better people to get voted out, leaving only the players who are afraid to excel at anything out of fear
