The solution is definitely having two returnee seasons, 49 and 50. One for strictly new era second chances, and one that mixes all years of the show. This is really the only way to encompass everything and give people a fair shot that haven't already played 3+ times

Tbh this is probably smart. That way they don’t have anyone from 49 getting left out. Pick your top 3 favorite new era, put them on 50, and then fill a season for 49. That way everyone on 50 has seen each other play(unlike Amanda and James in Micronesia or Hantz on HvV)

One tribe is one season winners who didnt make winners at war (chris, mike, todd, vecepia, natalie), one tribe is new era all stars (yam yam, maryanne, q, omar, dee), and one tribe is legends who never won (wentworth, cirie, malcolm, jerri, rupert). Love all of these players suggestions and reasonings. If we are really open to bringing in legends from any szn, I have a wild idea. 2 back to back returnee seasons. Season 50 and season 51. Why not? Have as much fun as possible. Also that way we can prevent layering things we’ve already seen but also bring in as many fun players as possible And then a few seasons into the 50’s. (Season 55?) Then do a new era only returnee szn cuz I’m pretty sure Jeff wants that so might as well

About Jeff hosting survivor, let’s be real the job isn’t that physically demanding. It’s 2 hours for a challenge (because they’ve gotten rid of the long endurance challenges) where he stands on a beach or platform, maybe has to climb some steps. And like 2 hours for tribal counsel. If he needs more down time, he can probably get them to change it back to a 39 day season where there’s down time between challenges and tribal counsel.

I personally think the cast should be 2 tribes of 10. Pre 40 tribe should include 2 winners with the rest being one or two time players. The post 40 tribe should have 3 winners and the rest just the best of the post 40 era.

Survivor 50 Format: Name: Legends Days: 50 Number of tribes: 2 Number of contestants: 24 Theme: Battle of The Eras Theme explained: 8 castaways from S1-20, 8 castaways from S21-40, and 8 castaways from S41-49. Divide them evenly across two tribes. Castaway Examples: James, Amanda, Parvati, Todd, Tyson, Earl, Vecepia, Russell from S1-20. Michele, Underwood, Dom, Devens, Holloway, Fabio, Cochran, Davie from S20-39. Shan, Q, Dee, Yam Yam, Jesse, Kaleb, Cassidy, Karla, Venus from S41-49. Not the perfect list of castaways (this is just a list I made up @ the top of my mind). But, the castaways should be great personalities/contestants from all eras. I believe they have to have the best players from the show. Don't know how they could do it without Parv, Sandra, Boston Rob, etc... .

I feel like the best way for Jeff Probst and all of production to not open themselves up to tons of unhappy Survivor fans is to take everyone that wants to play again and that they would allow to play and go the Survivor 31 route and put it to a fan vote as to who makes the official cast. With 49 seasons to choose from it would be so hard for production to find a good balance of new era players, winners, legends, etc that is going to satisfy the Survivor fans for such an epic season like season 50, so they should just put it in the hands of the fans as it would take all of the blame off Jeff and production when a certain person isn't cast.

I understand some fans wanting Jeff to be done at 50 but physically look at him he still looks as fit as he did 10 years ago and while the travel is hard the travel accommodation are getting better I can see him retiring but I also think he could go until season 60 at least.
