Hot take: JT's losing games are more interesting than his winning games he took big swings everytime I don't need every move to be good sometimes it's fun to see a hot mess of a downfall I'd be down to see JT come back more than most of the people that have come back as many times

This isnt an original idea, but my perfect season 50 would be 3 tribes of 8 (24 castaways total), 1 tribe being "old school" players (season 1-20), another tribe being "new school" players (season 1-40), and the final tribe being new era players (41-present). It would avoid an old school player massacre like in WaW and would have a big enough cast to encompass everyone that deserves to be in such a monumental season like season 50

I’m still making my way through this, but I just wanted to add how delightful it is to hear from Stephen on HvV. I wasn’t listening to RHAP back when this season aired, so I haven’t heard Stephen’s in-depth takes. It made me appreciate the viewpoint he had being only two seasons removed from Tocantins and having such close connections. Great podcast, and I hope we hear more from Stephen this summer!

Yeaaaaaaa Fishbach! I just watched Survivor Tocantins and it’s really the only old school-ish season I’ve watched but he was definitely my favorite, and I completely agree with everything he said about the Tocantins contestants (especially Coach and JT). I do wish Stephen had plans on coming back if he had the opportunity though 🥴. You guys definitely had good chemistry on this!

I don’t really understand this new era vs. old era idea for 50. Old era folks are… older. Instant disadvantage. We saw what happened with 40 and no one loved how the old era players got schooled by the new era players.

What old people are gonna be brought back from the new era? Maybe Mike from 42? I'm struggling to think of anyone else they'd even consider bringing back
