Even though it was the least dramatic, Jaime playing the first idol holds a place in my heart. I guess it was the first time a fake idol was played, so no one really expected what would happen. When Jeff threw the idol in the fire, that was GOLD and SHOCKING! Even though the later ones are more dramatic, the first one stays on you.

Yes. When someone is that miserable of a person, it usually means they have become that way due to things like this happening to them repeatedly. It only serves to make them more hardened. One reason Bob stood out as a decent person from that season is that while he made the idol, he took no pleasure in deceiving Randy; it was strategy without malice.

My favorite part of survivor. The fake idol. If I was ever on this show I would start making fake idols right of the bat and never stop. I would saturate the island with hundreds of fake idols. I would take a woodworking class ahead of time just to be good at it. No one would even know of they had a real or fake.
