Yes that is the SS Armor & Metallia's shield regenerative abilities. You can run shield on Panda as well (just don't let it completely deplete and have AF1 Eternal on SS armor to allow shield regen)

Funny challenge, try clan expedition with just green equipment, pick one legend/ss equipment of choice but rest green😅
