I'm impressed with Dean final speech. He played a bad bad game but gave a good speech. Thought he would win

Disgaree. Dean is kinda showing that his strategy was all performative. Finding magic rocks. Good tv? Sure. Tommy played all the time. Dean played at tribal council. Dean made “big moves” because he wanted to look like a good player. Tommy was actually talking to people. Dean is saying he ignored certain players he didn’t have game interest with and had to salvage his game with advantages. Tommy was well-connected and worked with everyoneZ That’s strategy. No “big moves”. It’s knowing what people want, what their plans are, and working with or against them. Tommy’s understanding of actual Survivor strategy is incredible and the fact the jury knows he does because he had relationships with them is telling. Tommy is an incredible winner.

@@thefoxoflaurels3437 dean is a weird player. I like him alot. But he may have been able to win in some final 3 but it would have been hard

When Tommie said He knew “Janet had a idol and that dean had a idol nullifier.” That was his million dollars right there. That’s why he won.

This exactly. It perfectly highlighted how he played his game

Birkaran Dhillon. I’d disagree and would say he made a number of moves. With kelly he used an idol to take out Jack, this move wasn’t entirely his own but it was going completely against the numbers. Another incredibly important move was when Noura, Elaine and Karishma were planning to ally with him and vote out tommy. Dean then turned on them in tribal, gaining Tommy’s trust while also leaving the others on the bottom. This was a great move and showed to Tommy how unstable and untrustworthy Noura actually is. Dean played a mostly quiet game, you can call it going with the numbers but the alternative would be to create conflict and upheaval for basically no reason and only place a huge target on himself. Instead Dean always ensures someone else was on the chopping block while minimizing his own threat level. He chose to not tell kelly about the plan to vote her out, this way ensuring a threat was eliminated without alienating himself. Tommy controlled the game but Dean used this to advance himself and then take control in the final 6, making sure that Janet and Elaine were both gone. Dean also played down his physical strength and heavily insinuated that he was throwing the early challenges, continuing to minimize his threat level, and when the time came he won two of the most important at the very end. Dean played a smart and tactical game, not needing to cause any unnecessary moves just for the sake of them. He is instead used what was available to him and gradually made his way to the final 3 with a decent chance to win. Unfortunately Dean shot himself in the foot when he brought up the “secret alliance” with Elizabeth which was never a big thing. Tommy was the better speaker and if that makes him the better player than so be it but to me Dean will always be the best player of the season, Islam’s of the idols.

@@willowreap9958 1. That was not his move. That was Kellee's. He had no part in that whatsoever. You can't even credit his social game. The only reason Kellee chose to save him is because they knew of each other outside of the game. 2. Snitching to Tommy is a move, but it is a TERRIBLE move considering he ended up LOSING to Tommy. 3. Dean said at FTC he gave it his ALL in challenges.
