It's actually a bit frustrating that survivors give up instead of learning the counterplay. Shelter woods is a terrible map for twins, as survivors can loop every narrow tree and victor can't get hits from that. There's an ungodly amount of counterplay against Twins.

Nah survivors will not bother learning looping until behaviour forces them by removing all pallets and half cheaty windows - then we will get truly skilled survivors community. Else why bother, just use one of 30 pallets, then one of 29 pallets etc.

trees aren't an absolute counterplay. I'm Twins player myself and I can hit survivors circling trees. It still works against average players but against twins main i dont think that will work. identify charlotte position is essential against the twins, and lockers remain their counter

@@fahmimaulana7255 Yeah no, If a survivor knows how to loop a narrow tree it is absolute counterplay. You can flick 180 as victor, but its absolutely telegraphed and a survivor can *always* juke.

I see the attraction. This is just guna work better indoors. I have a build just for indoors w a map offering. The add ons used are definitely the best regardless tho. Red can make every build work atleast sometime. Great game Red. Pro twins main enjoys your twins content. Send their souls to the void of the entity, the savior 😉

It’s matches like this that make me think that failed attempts to pull yourself off the first hook shouldn’t reduce the hook timer. It would be a small buff for survivors who actually are trying to play the game by giving them some “free” attempts, so those survivors would like the change, but it would also make it so impulsive quitters wouldn’t be able to so easily throw the match. And a lot of times if a potential quitter is actually rescued or does pull themselves off they do end up playing the game out because they’ve had a few moments to calm down.

I would disagree, that would make certain perks way too strong, they'd need to be hit hard with nerfs. When playing killer it is already a frustrating enough moment when someone not running Deliverance manages to get off of the hook, particularly if it is late or end game. There needs to be something to balance it out, or literally every match would have people getting off their first hook. It would also devalue something like Wicked or Deliverance, and ramp up some other perks to be god tier.

A SMALL buff? Making it so every survivor could pull themselves off hook without perks? This comment is prime example #1 of why DbD devs doing balance changes base on community suggestions can be so incredibly bad

@@GoldenDeer_ Survivors have a 4% chance to self unhook per attempt. With three attempts that's a 12.5% chance to succeed. That's about a 1/8 chance of happening. So yes, this is not a big buff. On average you'd get about 1 survivor successfully pulling off the first hook on their own once per two matches.

Most times ppl give up is cause survivors wanna do gens instead of going for saves, when you see no one coming and everyone is across the world working on gens, ofc your gonna wanna give up, on top of red jus being a menace, id rather not play with trash ass teammates who live on gens over friends
