I had no idea what slurry gas is until now. Why do people drown in them? Do they accidentally fall in or do they get knocked out with the gas and fall in? How could the process be made safer? Audible alarm? Masks? Pipes to ditch fumes somewhede else? Burn fumes?

Well I can't understand what he's saying but I wanted to know why they can't wear gas masks like from WWII ? Seems the most sensible way to go. Move the cows and don the masks and everythings all good no?

You need a mask specifically for hydrogen sulfide. I don’t know why they just don’t buy some anyways, some farmers have special agitators with sensors and fans to stay safe around the gas so they aren’t needed.
