Ethan is by far the most likable Survivor player of all time. I just think it's incredibly interesting to see him on TV again after such a long hiatus

Everyone hates eoe for good reasons, but it did give us an opportunity to see our favorite robbed players and Ethan is a perfect example

That’s why I say I was content with EoE being in this season. It gave us a chance to see all the winners all season. I just wish episodes could have been two hours long.

God I really thought he was in an optimal spot for this season. Old school but not scary like B Rob I was expecting a deep run. Sadly he got caught in the crossfire of a chaotic Sele tribe. His Extinction game was inspirational though and was a good character and I’m beyond happy he came back!

I wish the old schoolers lasted longer. Ethan is one of my favorite winners. Him, Parv, and Rob were my favorite alliance this season by far!

Aligning with Boston Rob killed any chance he had at winning. I wish Rob and Amber had sat out. Season would have been much better. I don't think the old school players get targeted and alliances would be much more interesting.

This is so crazy because my dad is very close friends with Ethan and he actually won survivor and then did a second season after he had cancer and the season he won he was telling my dad how brutal it was and he had to think cow blood and they had to built a shelter where are these wild dangerous animals are

Casting screwed him over and as thrilled as I am with Tony's win, casting had no intention to give a fair shot to the old-schoolers and if anything wanted to screw them over.

@@serbianbeyonder3847 "The newer players are far more interesting" ... Hatch and Tina are two of the most adored players on a character level. Brian had a lot of personality that fans literally remembered by a nickname. Vecepia was well-liked and would have brought the diversity this cast needed. We did not need to see both Adam and Nick. Albeit prior to this season I would have casted Nick over Adam, in retrospect Adam was better to have. Also with it being a big winners at war season springing for a 24 player format like on Australian Survivor would have been good as a one time thing for this season as numerous winners wanted to come back as well.

Considering all he went through surviving Blood Cancer and then that Log carrying endurance challenge, Ethan is one of my favorite competitors on Survivor, even though I've only watched him in Winners At War; He is currently my 13th favorite Survivor competitor overall!
