Dwight sometimes runs games with a lot of Survivors on Saturday afternoons, and Christian will usually have his own stream going during those so you get to hear his perspective as he plays, plus he's talked a bit about his involvement with this series, which has been really interesting. (He developed an algorithm for the editors!!) I've learned a lot, it's a good time!

I *love* these! After watching the first one, I actually looked for more BotCT on KZbin to watch, but quickly realized that nowhere else is the game edited and formatted in a way that keeps the pace interesting, yet easy to follow at the same time. Elsewhere it's usually very slow and assumes you have a ton of knowledge about the game before watching. Such a great job! It's like watching a whole reality gameshow of its own here on RHAP!

I also highly recommend No Rolls Barred, they have a playlist for BotC with Ben as storyteller. If you start with their older videos they use more basic scripts to help you learn the game. The official BotC channel also has great games but is only from one persons perspective (usually Ben), usually following the storyteller but sometimes the player.

yes! to be fair, i think that kinda helped the evil team. good would probably correctly sus out that it was a spy game, then they would have run less scenarios - prob baron/scarlet women would be off the table sooner.

Question/Request: in future BOCT installments (which I hope there are many), for the roles being discussed that aren’t in the game (Ravenkeeper, Baron, Etc) could there be a chiron in the lower third explaining that role’s power? I found the baron conversations confusing as someone who has not played the game yet. Just a thought, but these are already so compelling y’all should be proud!

thank you! Glad you commented on the experience levels thing, bc it's something we deliberately strive for. Obviously it could make 'sense' to just cast people who are the most experienced at the game, but our thought was the variety would be good, especially with lots of different experience levels in our audience. I know I always appreciated watching the NRB videos that people had different capabilities, made me feel like I could keep pace with some while others were absolutely outstripping me.

actually, i think that was the right move. even if you clock someone early on, as the good team you shouldn't tunnel vision on them because it is really just a hunch. they could've had throw more heat on Stephen in private, but it is hard because there was not much to go on. Stephen's early game was nearly flawless and everyone was so caught on maryanne's chaos.

I knew nothing about BOTC until last episode, but honestly, I was hooked then. Good thing we know (from a reveal on The Know-It-Alls) that episode 3 has been filmed right? Would love to see a few other players but its just awesome seeing these people who i loved watching in SURVIVOR play here.
